The moment I saw Alex's call, my mood changed.
For a second I debated in my mind whether to take it or not. He had publicly ridiculed himself and me, so what does he want?
Why was he that jealous after asking me to cling to Josh?
It started ringing again the second time and I couldn't bring myself to ignore it anymore.
"Rubby, I need you."
His voice cracked, I had never heard him sound like that before. Suddenly I felt scared. What had happened?
"What's going on?" I asked.
"Where are you?" He answered my question with a question.
"I'm home."
"Can I come please?"
