Diane was about to open the envelope when she suddenly heard a weird ringing in her ear. She did not know where it came from, but it seemed that Micheal was also as affected as her when she instinctively looked at him. Only that he was looking much worse than her and he was already on the floor covering his ears with everything he got.
But obviously the effort was destined to be useless, the noise still existed even when they held their ears with both hands. Thinking that this was something done by the labs, as it was only in this place did they get to experience something like this, they scrambled to get out of the laboratory.
