The question made me remember Emily's reaction and her decision to stop working for me afterwards. She told me Dante made everyone in the castle live by his laid down rules and principles, most of which were awkward.
I had no murderous intent, but Dante's decision to have me and every other person, including the lady who wrote the diary, irritated me. Nurse Griselda advanced closer to the door, and was going to open it when the devil descended on me.
