Alizay’s POV
I was in my office. My office is on 25th floor while president’s office is on 34th. You must be wondering why my office is on 25th , so the reason is because I wanted to be as close to my employees as possible. The president thought this at the very beginning, a strategy, so that we can always know the inside of the company that our employees work in. My office is on the same floor as Marketing & Managing department. Since the managing department is a really important department in our eyes. Cause if our employees are managed well, only then will we be able to progress.
I was taking painkillers for my headache since this morning, maybe it was because I couldn’t sleep well last night and I was thinking about all those problems as well! Ah!! Sillas…… just what are you upto! Please stay safe!
Knock knock…..
“come in”
“Mam our clients have arrived.”
“Good to hear that they Arrived safely”
I moved away from the table and went towards her, who was standing at the opened door. I was already standing since I just took painkillers. As I reached near her she moved to the side for my way. As we were on our way I asked her
“so are they inside yet?”
“…No..Mam”
“hah? What does that mean?”
“there was a commotion”
“Ari! And why are you telling me that just now?”
“I thought I would explain it to you on elevator mam…I am sorry for my incompetence, it wont happen again”
“Sigh* then tell me when we get on the elevator”
This is really not okay but its strange at the same time, she usually notifies me right after there is an issue. She is acting strange. We reached the elevator and got on it. Ari coming after me pressed 1. The door closed and the elevator started moving.
“you have 1 minute to explain the situation.”
“Mam I don’t know how the word got out, but there are a lot of fans at our main entrance and our clients car stopped just at that entrance, also there is …media..”
“MEDIA! you say there are fans and media at the front door and even knowing THAT they stopped at the main entrance?”
“…y…yes..”
I HATE THIS! I seriously hate this! It must be one of their schemes! They knew that the president was to receive Robin Lee at the main entrance! They planned it from the beginning.
Ari’s POV
Oh NO!! Mam is really angry!! She wasn’t feeling well since the morning and now this!
Everyone knows that president and CEO haven’t shown their real face to the world. The president doesn’t attend any work related gathering outside the company formally and the CEO also wears a mask. It is a basic rule of our company that the staff and employees or anyone else inside the company is not to introduce themselves formally out of the company. Even if someone were to approach them then they had to either ignore them or could deny to tell them anything that happens inside the company. Our employees are all so scared of disobeying this one rule especially because of what happened recently. An employee leaked a bit confidential data about our new software to our rival, or I dare say the enemy of our company and that resulted in 14% losses but thanks to CEO’s Smart and accurate decision. We were able to get a hold of the leaked data since it was leaked only a bit. That guy sure would have leaked more data if the CEO didn’t caught on. That guy was sued by our company’s president and was sent to jail for six months and he also was fined with paying for our losses. And not only that, with his bad reputation he wasn’t able to get a job for almost 2 years until Riens Group hired him, But he didn’t disclose to the public about Riens Group who bribed him. Everyone really likes the president and CEO, but when they are angry their eyes become dark with straight sealed lips which look so horrifying! Just their glaring is enough for every employee and staff here to feel like they are dying. So they know that if they do a mistake like him they will be punished severely for their acts so no one dares break the companies rule.
Also It feels so chilly in this Elevator right now.
Alizay’s POV
I think I know What they are after!
“ Even so, why hasn’t our clients entered the building yet”
“Ah Mam …that is….”
*Ding
The elevator’s door opened.
“Ari you are really slow today , I am not getting answers to my questions here “
I said while getting out of the elevator, and Ari followed me behind silently. Just muttering to herself that she is sorry. When we got out of the elevator on 1st floor, there is a big hall with the main entrance and a big receptionist table with Our company’s name ICE engraved on it with Violet colored words and on the right side is a sitting lounge with a big LCD TV for normal people who come to visit , but this time there is a whole crowd of my employees in front of the TV with noises. At this scene, I really have had enough! Without Realizing it my face turned dark and I was glaring at them.
3rd person POV
Everyone was in their own world, when suddenly it felt chilly, so chilly that the 1st floor which was bustling with noises seemed to have turned into an Empty room. With no one uttering even a word and trembling like some maniacs. Only the voice of the TV could be heared.
And then a low voice came from our CEO…
“Why….WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU ALL DOING?”
“…….” No one dared to speak Everyone was trembling with their heads down.
“GO… To your posts! Right now!”
At this point everyone basically ran to the left corridor to the elevators and soon after there was no one except the receptionists and the CEO with her Secretary. The receptionists were also trembling with their head downs and same was the scene with Ari. Then the chilling feeling vanished suddenly and everyone present in the hall at that moment seemed to calmed down a bit. They weren’t trembling now but still fear could be seen on their faces. Only the Tv’s noise could be heard now.
Alizay’s POV
Sigh* I sighed in mind, I really couldn’t control myself. Hah…. What should I do now, I really scared them all this time…! As I was in my thoughts, the noise of the TV reached my air. It was a news channel I guess, cause I could hear an anchor reading the news. When I looked up at the TV.
“We are reporting to you now about the popstar Robin lee currently present in front of the Main entrance of the company ICE. The star appeared with his bear face but is still looking more than handsome. We can see him standing still in front of his car with his staff but there seems to be some problem … cause….. HE IS SO STILLLLLL !! HE AIN’T MOVING AT ALL!!!
The female anchor spoke really calmly but at the end she turned into a mad woman suddenly!
“what?”
On the TV I could see only crowd of fans and the idol standing still in the middle with a shocking expression.
“Reporting to you the top popstar has BEEN SATNDING STILL AT THE FRONT DOOR OF THE COMPANY ICE!! Is he ILL??? He is not moving at all”
What surprised me was blue shine around him!! Wait !! he is that person!! I suddenly remembered that he was the one I met two days ago at the lake! But how….!! How can there be shine around him!!! That shine is called crystal shield that appears only on the royals when protecting them from magic!! That means HE IS A ROYAL!! No way…. No that’s not the problem here!!! Why are the crystal fairies shielding him?? From what?? Don’t tell me!!! Dust is here!!!!! NO !!! I looked at the front door in a hurry and then at Ari! Who was looking at me with so shocked eyes! s**t!! How can I be so clumsy! I’ve shown my expressions again in front of her!!! No in front of them!!! What am I thinking about! Argh!!! There is no time to think about this! I gotta inform my father and brother! No we gotta inform the royal palace!! Right now we are at the kingdom of south’s capital city Sorichia so if I want to inform them that dark magic wielders are in this city……No what am I doing! If I tell them that, they will definitely confine me! how can I know about DUST ! When I am just a companies head!
“MAM!!!!”
Ari suddenly said in a really large scream that made me to come out of my thoughts. Don’t panic Alizay! You have faced these situations multiple times, so just solve this issue calmly.
“MAM!! PLEASE!! What should we do ? tell us! How do we get our clients inside?”
“Call for the Police…also call for help from White Dragon Knights”
“Hah??”
“Don’t make me repeat myself”
“ok Mam..”
