Robin's POV
Hustling bustling noises of city , managing machine’s nagging, and glaring eyes. I really miss the peace and quite from last night at the lake. I wish I could live there quietly, I wish there were more people who thought of me as a human, I wish I could be myself in front of people, I wish these artificial eyes would spare me just one hour. I love my fans but I am afraid of their obsession over me. I am afraid of the people around me getting hurt. I am afraid I’ll lose myself in this process.
"Robin!! ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING to me??"
Ah the nagging Machine won’t stop nagging, I am Bored.
" yeah yeah.. I am listening."
I replied with a boring expression.
" You know what you have done right!! How could you go missing on the day of your shoot? you already knew it was an important shoot!! So how could you do that!! The president was so furious! We already received our payment and you went missing on the sole day that you had to do the shoot! What is this robin?? I know you did it on purpose!!"
SO WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO??? HAH? TELL ME!! I just had a world tour and many concerts with fansigning and fanmeeting events all around the world since January and I just got back on 25 november and its only 5 of December and you guys did’nt even let me take a break and topped my schedule with ads and interviews!! I am tired I want a break !
" Robin you are playing with your future!"
“ Is future a thing to play with”
“Robin!! Sigh….. ok its all in the past and we can’t go back now. So robin you have a shoot tomorrow. Please just do this shoot. I’ll try talking to president about your vacation."
He plead to me with really worried face. Although managing machine is always nagging me, but he really cares about me I know that. That’s why I can’t worry him more. I know he is only my manager, the real devil is the president here. But still I can’t listen to him more now, every time I do something my manager is the one in trouble.
“ okay”
“Thanks Robin, don’t worry I’ll try talking to the president. Ok?”
“yeah ok”
He patted my shoulder with a smile and then went out of my studio. Right now I am at my studio in the company. I went straight back home yesterday and slept until 11:00 in the morning. At waking up I saw 41 missed calls from my manager and staff and 25 messages. I am so glad I put my phone on silent last night, or else I wouldn’t have been able to sleep peacefully until now.
*Ding Dong…….DING DONG*
Ah!! It must be the nagging machine but I was wrong it was my assistant! Oh just how glad I am seeing my cute little brother.
" Teddy!! You are finally here! I am so glad to see you and not the nagging machine”
"bro you are calling me teddy again! For God Sake call me by my name"
“ hah! but Leo doesn’t suit you at all, you look really innocent..nothing like a lion so teddy is the best nickname for you”
“sigh … ok can I come in now?”
“why are you asking? This is you own home”
He came in and you wouldn’t know how happy I am at seeing him! Let me introduce him, He is my assistant leo, a young boy, Age 20 Years old, a high school graduate. He is working hard to earn money for his college fee that he will attend starting next year. I told him that I will pay his fees but he is one proud child, won’t accept money for free. He is a really prominent assistant always does his work on time, never nags me, never annoys me, gives me space as well. And he is like my little brother since I am a single child of my parents, I always wanted a younger sibling and I got one in the form of this boy. The reason why I call him teddy even though he doesn’t like it is beacause he is so cute. With his light brown hair and emerald eyes, and his facial features are no joke since he is so handsome. A lot of my fans are also his fans.
Well he started hiding his face ever since the incident before. When I posted my picture with him on twitter. Everyone thought that he was my little brother and the picture spread like fire all around the world that led him to become famous among my fans even after the official notice that he Is my assistant and not my brother many fans would take pictures with him and due to this reason, he is always on high alert and doesn’t take pictures with me anymore.
My company even offered him to work for them as model but this young lad here wants to be a doctor. Its really good to see him chasing his dreams, cause it reminds me of my struggles to reach my goal.
“ so teddy leo, wanna play xbox?”
“No hyung, we have to go. We are late already”
“hah? But where”
“to work”
“hah please, I haven’t even had breakfast yet “
“ I bought your breakfast, its in the car”
“ then why didn’t you bring it here “
“hyung, president is furious. Manager kim got scolded really tight this morning. The partner company are behind on their schedule because of your acts for 2 days now”
“I guessed it”
“ we have to go, and you should get ready for manager kim’s scolding. you can have your breakfast in the car”
“ yeah yeah, that nagging machine never stops. Let me get a shower and then we can go”
“ ok please hurry up”
And this is how I got to the company this morning and had an argument with nagging machine.
Its 2:30 and I am still in the studio writing songs but it seems I have to get some inspiration. I really have to get inspiration from nature. Most time I right songs at night watching the moon and night sky. While I was in my thoughts, the door opened and my assistant walked in with food bags and a file in his other hand.
" hyung I got your burgers and here is your schedule for tomorrow".
" hah! let me eat first & then I will look at it."
As always he knows what I wanna eat while writing songs. A chicken burger and fries without mayo and and soft drinks and shakes. I like to drink sweet things while working, and he knows I hate to eat alone so he always has lunch with me. After eating he handed me the schedule paper and started explaining.
"you have to shoot an ad tomorrow for an IT company named Ice who are introducing new software and gadgets, they are on the list of top 10 best IT companies around the world. This shoot is really important for them and for you also.”
“How is it important for me?”
“As I already said, its one of the best IT companies around the globe, so everyone is excited for their launch of new gadgets and software. The world’s eyes will be on these products and so will your fans eyes be as well. It will be a bomb to Entertainment and Technological industries. Not to forget, the royal palace is also anticipating these products. Since there were rumors going around that these gadgets will be of much importance for economy, but nothing more is known”
“ I see, now I am getting interested as well. So the shoot will start tomorrow at 8:00 in the morning right”
“ yeah hyung”
“ok”
“Hyung”
“yeah?”
“Do you still have trouble sleeping? You slept well last night right?”
At this question, I suddenly remembered that I was actually able to sleep well last night. I have always had Insomnia since my last world tour, I hardly slept even one hour and had to take lots of sleeping pills to sleep just three hours but last night I slept for six hours. I remembered my conversation with the girl last night and my lips unconsciously curved up into a light smile.
“ yeah, I think if someone considers me a human and have a conversation with me then I will have a goodnight’s sleep”
When I looked up at Leo, he was looking at me with shocked eyes such as if I have spoken some words which should not me spoken? I guess.. then a low voice interrupted me.
“hyung…but you ARE a human”
“ of course I am, hahah”
He was looking at me with eyes that were pitiful and his facial expression was sad.
“ hyung…. is it hard?”
I got really shocked at his question but felt really good that someone actually asked me if I was having a hard time. No one asks me that cause they say why would I be having a hard time when I have money and fame, I can get everything I want, by just flicking a finger like magic. Leo thank you for asking. And then I replied with a serious face.
“ yeah…. Its …hard..”
And he didn’t said anything afterwards and just kept standing there.
