Chapter 7

575 Words
I am very excited on College, man I can't wait. College has been on my mind a lot lately, and a new chapter in my life is starting. This is my last day of work, and I am overjoyed because I will be receiving my first income as a student working part-time. I'll miss my coworkers, the experiences we've shared, the problems we've had at work, and everything else. We enjoy a short party at a fast food restaurant before saying our last goodbyes. We ordered a large amount of food to eat so that we could enjoy chit-chatting while eating . My parents were already asleep when I arrived home after a night of fun and happiness. I entered without making a sound. Some thoughts came to mind when I was seated. What would Lhuyd study in college? Is he going to stay in this city or go elsewhere with great universities? I was still interested by him and tried to ignore him in my thoughts, but I couldn't stop thinking about him. Perhaps I simply miss him. Right now, I don't have a friend that would listen to my emotional problems. It's quite difficult, and I'm crying right now. When I cried, all I did was listen to peaceful music to soothe my heart. Nobody knows about my pain. Fast forward to the day of college enrollment: I'm worried and anxious all at the same time. This is my first time entering a new school on my own since elementary and high school. I truly believe that sometimes you need to be alone to realize that you can. I simply motivate myself to continue on this journey with only myself. When I first arrive at university, I head straight to the Business Management department. The registration office had an extremely lengthy line, and I had to wait in it simply to acquire a registration form. After a long wait, I eventually receive a registration form, which I immediately fill out and deliver with my documentation. The lady then directed me to return the next day for the admission exam and final interview. After a tough day, I return home with blisters on my foot however a grateful heart. Then I tell my mother everything that happened while I was having dinner. "Hey Megan, I'm so glad we're both at the same university so we can hang out again." Then she hugs me tightly and I hug him back, tears streaming down my cheeks. Then he cupped my cheek and said, "Don't be sad, I'm here." *Suddenly, my alarm clocks sound* Damn!!! it was a f*****g dream. It felt real, it was very vivid and clear. Well I will not get that through me, its just a dream its not real. I reviewed some of my high school notes before the exam and interview to refresh my memory. But that dream is remained with me all day. I can't seem to get rid of it. That would destroy my college experience if it happened in real life. When the day of the entrance exams arrived, I was both excited and worried. To keep myself motivated, I continually reminded myself, "I can do it." When I arrived at school, many students were preparing to take the admission exam as well. When I heard someone calling from a distance and it became closer and closer, his voice seemed so familiar. HI MEGAN!!! It was HIM.
