A few moments earlier, Edmund and Arthur chatted about how Emperor Lucian doesn’t look like he’s in his best condition. Out of concern, Edmund offered as a representative for other aides to go and check the emperor’s condition.
Edmund began by focusing his senses to his surroundings and ignoring the bustling that comes from the main hall. Separating each sound from each other, Edmund eventually managed to spot the emperor’s whereabouts when he heard a soft groan from a voice that sounded like it belonged to Lucian. Edmund used his vampiric abilities and instantly head to the sound, concerned that the emperor might be in danger.
