I looked at both alphas who had an unreadable expression.. And soon they dashed out of the room.. I don't know what I did wrong but I really was scared for my life.. I thought they would beat me like the other alphas but they were to sweet to me..
I am glad they didn't take it too far.. I wiped my tears and got up.. I hope they don't tell Larissa or she will beat me up for pissing off her Alpha's..
The Alpha's are gone and I walked in her room to wake her up..
"Luna.. It's time for you to wake up.. "
She groaned and woke up before glaring at me..
"f*****g b***h! How dare you wake me!! "
She screamed at my face while getting up from bed..
"I am sorry luna.. But you need to show up at school for a program.. "
I finished and I felt a slap across my face..
"I am a luna! You think I'll go for such low class events?! How dare you disrespect me! "
It wasn't a low class duty but a very important one.. It was one that meant for bonding with the pack wolves..
"You go and attend.. I'll only attend Parties that comes with powerful Alpha's.. Other than any of those, you'll attend them like always.. "
Like a spare Luna as always..
The reason why I had a good relationship with every pack wolves is because I played the role of their luna most of the time.. I was the one to bond with them while Larissa f****d Alpha's..
I stood up and went away.. I saw the beta approaching and went to him..
"Luna-"
"She refused to attend the program.. I'll go on behalf of her.. "
He looked shocked and immediately tried to protest but I handed him the order letter from Luna to comply with this.. Larissa being an official luna, he can't ignore her order no matter what unless being told by Alpha's..
He gave up and nodded while I followed him.. He assisted me in the car and started driving..
We reached in front of a huge campus.. Oh how I wished to study here and learn everything.. I got out and few kids ran upto me, giving me flowers and welcoming me..
I awed and smiled at them lovingly.. We entered the campus and everyone greeted me..
"We are greatful that you came Luna.. "
Oh no they misunderstood already..
"I'm sorry my lady but I'm not the Luna.. Mother is resting and send me of behalf of her.. "
Everyone's face soured and they gave each others look.. It was disrespectful towards them and I knew that too..
"But I like this sister.. She is so cute!! "
A little girl chirpped in and all the other kids agreed.. I ruffled the girls head and she purred.. They are pups after all..
The atmosphere lightened immediately and the older ones smiled too before to head to the program hall...
The beta looked amused at how I managed everything.. The program started and I honestly enjoyed and encouraged the pups to which they all were happy...
The program ended after 3 hours and I felt tired but still put on a smile for them.. As we were leaving, the oldest woman who was the vice principal, hugged me..
"I was furious that you were a human but seeing how lovely you were, I'm so moved.. The performance were not that good but still you encouraged the pups.. That's so great of you.. "
I smiled ..
"I should thank you for excepting me.. "
We exchanged a few more words before returning to car and driving to palace.. I walked in the living room but was stopped by the beta..
"Now that you're the spare Luna.. "
It stung me somewhere but it was the truth..
"Here is the schedule and don't mess up! "
He instructed and left me.. I looked at the list and gasped.. That's basically a full time Luna's duty wrote here.. From charities to training for fight.. I have to do everything?! Dang it! I can't wait to be 18 and just leave from this place..
Only a month from now and I'll be free.. But the thing is that the night I'll turn 18 is near moon festival which meant all the portals will be sealed for some time..
I signed and fell back on the bed.. Why is life so unfair to me?
Next day..
As instructions, I was ready for my training.. I wore a normal tracksuit and entered the field.. I was shocked to see both Alpha's there.. I didn't see them after yesterday morning but surely heard screams from Larissa's room which was caused my them for sure.. I felt a burn in me..
Was I jealous? Maybe.. I never felt like this for anyone.. Maybe because they're not like the others and more kind to me? I don't know but the scene of them with Larissa kinda burned me..
I guess I stared for too long and Alpha Colton looked at me.. I memorized their name whole night to not mess up like earlier.. Soon Alpha Wylon looked at me too..
"What are you doing here?! "
Wylon asked and the beta approached for explanation.. They both looked displeased but said nothing afterwards.. I stood in middle of the ring while a trainer explained how to do a simple tackle..
I wanted to yawn cause I am already trained pretty well.. Like I said.. I was the spare Luna.. The previous pack gamma was my friend and literally prepared me for war after hearing how some wanted to take advantage of me..
The trainer called a newbie worrior to fight with me..
"That's really a big insult of me Gamma.. "
The newbie said mocking me.. I felt offended because of how everyone laughed.. Even the Alpha's laughed at his comment.. I was determined to teach him a lesson..
As the gamma instructed to start, he was too full of himself to notice me grabbing him and throw him on the floor.. He gritted his teeths and got up before charging at me.. I ditched his throws before counter attacking him.. It was only a few minutes for him to tap out of the ring..
I breathed while the gamma was impressed with me and congratulated me.. I looked at the Alpha's who looked quite amused but didn't say anything..
"I'm looking forward to train you.. You're such a good fighter.. "
I smiled and the session ended with a few stretches..
As I started walking towards the entrance, I spotted the beta waiting for me..
"There is a charity event set urgently and Alpha's will be attending too.. Dress nicely and properly.. "
His comment didn't set with me right as if he was sort of degrading me.. I swear I'll take revenge if I get a chance..
As I entered my room, I awed at the dress in front of me.. It was in baby blue and my favorite! The pearls adorned them perfectly.. I got ready quickly and looked myself in the mirror..
All those beauty for what? I felt my stomach churning as the earlier words set in me..
"I am a spare Luna.. Always the second choice.. Why? "
'You're great Ale.. '
I felt my inner voice speak to me but is that even real?
I looked at myself for the last time before walking out of the room.. I walked in the living roon and saw both Alpha's.. They looked at me pissed and glared at the beta..
"Where is the Luna? The actual one? "
Oh yeah... Once again..
"Alpha the luna refused-"
The beta didn't said the whole before Colton looked at me..
"What make you, a mere human to think that you fit for a luna and go with us?! "
I flinched as he neared..
"You may train and show off but dare to act like a luna then I'll shred you and fed on myself.. "
I gulped.. All I did was to listen to whatever anyone told me.. Suddenly he grabbed my hair and pulled back..
"You're nothing but a worthless spare Luna.. "
