Chapter 5

Igneous' point of view

"Done with it already?" Ash asked as I entered the hall.

I just got here to Malvido Sitio after taking care of the incident that happened from Riverdale, It such a bother.

"I put his soul on the pit of hell so whatever" I answered while grabbing some bottle of whiskey on the table.

"Death might not attend the meet and greet, Igneous, so don't drink too much" Ash stated which kinda bothers me.

Acting as the oldest, where in fact he's the youngest here, but it's alright that quite suits him.

"Why?" I asked though I don't really care.

"Don't know, some of our brothers left Malvido and did not even say anything" Ash sighed. "Feels like the burden is on us now"

I drank the glass of whiskey and stared at the ceiling for a moment. Those damn stubborn bastards.

"Excuse my intrusion, your highness" one of our personnel suddenly came in the hall. "But the Corps are here to greet for your arrival"

"Finally!"

Both I and Ash turn our heads over the grinning i***t Quartz. My mothrfcking brother suddenly appeared out of the blue.

"I've been waiting for this moment! I suffered million years seeing only your damn faces, this is finally freedom!" he laughed hardly with his stupidity and slightly slapped Ash's shoulder.

Noisy fcker.

"Where have you been?" Ash asked.

"I got my eyes on Sin earlier, he was with a chick though nothing else" he sighed.

What does he mean?

"Where is he?" I asked.

"I'm here" Sin waved his hands to grab our attention. 

Once again, my brother suddenly appeared out of nowhere. 

"Let's go" Ash stated.

Everyone bowed their heads down as I and my brothers entered the Main Hall. They looked exhausted for the past million years, though I know why and it's because of those fcking lost souls.

"Your Highness" one of the officers stated. "I am Corporal Avarice. It's my pleasure to meet you once again"

"Oho" Sin inserted himself between us. "What a beauty" and quickly smirked as he kissed the Corporal's hands.

"Captain Rude at your service sir" another one stated.

"Chief Gremor sir" another one saluted.

"Enough with the introductions guys" Quartz grinned. "Why don't we eat? Or let's drink for a celebration!"

"Quartz is right" Ash agreed. "It's been million years, so we should welcome each other like brothers and sisters"

"Then, can I escort Ms. Avarice at the Dining Hall?" Sin flirted.

What a pain in the ass.

"It's my honor" the Corporal replied.

"But your highness" Gremor interrupted. "There's only 4 of you here, where are the other Princes?"

Speaking of. Where the f**k are they?

Angelique's point of view

"What the f*ck is wrong with you?" I asked Lucia.

She's acting differently as soon as she came home, did something came up?

"I saw the Prince of Wrath"

"Prince of what?!, S-so what the hell happened?!"

Lucia exhaled in frustration.

"I just saw a terrifying scene. And I lost one of my colleagues at the Corps"

Why the hell is she affected by that? As far as I know, we only met them just a day ago.

"Y-you knows, you should stay a-away with those Princes" I stuttered.

"Why?" her face crumpled.

"You said it already, you saw a terrifying scene which involves them. So therefore they are dangerous! Let's just focus on finding Phoenix and where gonna get out of this inferno"

I saw how Lucia's eyes shifted into sadness.

"Then how 'bout you? What happened when you roam around?"

I quickly gulped and turned my back on her, I can't let her find out that I also met one of those fcking Princes!

"Nothing really happened though" I lied. "But before I got here I met this slave named Sadira, she said that she will lend me pieces of information about this City once we meet again some other day"

Yeah, I really met Sadira earlier. She even told me how she became a slave, she accidentally killed a devil here and so that happened. The Princes punished and tortured her for hundred years and got to do a job as a slave of someone.

"AAAHHHHHHHHH"

A scream suddenly appeared that made us both flinch, we immediately ran out of the house and saw a woman crying for help.

Behind her is a dark smoking monster who has these longhorns, nails, and legs, which even makes it creepier because it's 4 times way bigger than a normal height!

"What the f*****g fcker is that!?" I shouted out of shock.

The monster smashed the woman into a pulp and growled, the dark blood spilled into the ground as the fcker smashed it once again. 

"Angelique!"

Lucia snapped me out in reality when the monster acted to hit the direction where I am currently standing, fortunately, Lucia grabbed me out of the area so we ran away as far as we can to escape the fcker.

fuck, are we gonna die here?! Nobody will fcking save us!

"Angelique! Increase your speed with 75 percent of your strength! Or else your dead!"

Lucia warned, because when I was about to turn my head over the monster. I just realized it was chasing us. This is nuts! I was also being chased earlier because of that goddamn prince, now my energy is drained!

"Reach the alley as soon as we cross the traffic light!" Lucia pointed it while panting and running.

"How about you?!"

"I'll try to eliminate the demon with my remaining strength, so just do what I said!"

fuck f**k f**k! This is insane, I can't let her handle that freaking fcker alone!

What to do!? Somebody help!

Quartz's point of view

We are currently having a drink as a celebration of our arrival, and the fact that our other brothers are not here pissed Igneous off that much. Well, I can't blame him.

"Just don't overthink about it bro" I stated. "You don't have enough brain cells to brainstorm" I laughed hard and slapped his shoulder.

"Don't fck with me right now Quartz, I might fcking kill you"

I immediately stopped laughing and faced the other way around, okay that's it.

"Bro, stop being so dramatic over small things. Just enjoy seeing boobs and get addicted!" Sin inserted knowing he was flirting to the Corporal since earlier.

"Pardon my intrusion" we all stopped to what we are doing when a personnel intrudes. "But a lost soul is currently invading the City"

Damn.

Lucia's point of view

"Why didn't you do what I instructed you earlier?!" I exclaimed towards Angelique while hiding behind a car.

"Are you insane?! I can't leave you behind!"

That's not the point, we are both hundred percent doomed if the demon finds us. One of us needs to escape and find help, she's not thinking!

The demon once again growled out of anger while destroying the things it sees on the road.

Come on, think of something Lucia!

I looked around the area and saw a big water gauge, I ordered Angelique to hide under the car to make her safe and so she did. My arm's kinda bleeding due to the incident earlier, so it's easy for the demon to find me at the moment.

I grabbed its attention by letting it see me, and quickly it started to run and reach me with its long sharp nails. I stopped running right in front of the water gauge and as soon as the demon tried to smash me, it hit the water gauge and tubes as I dodge it.

The water spilled everywhere enabling me to grab the broken metal tube, as the demon noticed me breathing alive, I waved it into the air trying to shove the water away out of its sight while trying to strike me using its left hand.

I held the tube tightly as I whack it deeply into the demon's leg. It groaned in pain as it plunged its body into the ground. I whacked it once again with all my might but for the third time, I didn't realize that the monster got me with its hands.

"LUCIA!!" I heard Angelique shouted.

My body became numb and malfunctioned as the demon squeezed me tightly, my hand itself released the tube as my arm bled severely.

"NO!!!"

Angelique's shouts lingered all over my ears. My sight is blurring as the second goes by. 

I am hundred percent doomed.

But right before I could even surrender my body, a sudden loud bang crushed towards the demon causing it to let me go. As I landed on the cold, wet ground. An image of a familiar colleague suddenly appeared in front of me, it left a bitter smile before attacking the demon, stabbing its heart and slicing it in half.

Finally, you found us.
