Chapter 20

1311 Words
Lucia's point of view To be honest, I never saw my grandmother since I was a child, the only thing mom told me about her besides her name, Luciana Omen, is that she vanished one day without telling the whole family why, the place she used to stay and how she's obsessed of historical stories. I remember the address my mom once told me, Vertigo, Shrine of Hills. That's where they found her after years of searching, and I hope she's still there because I have lots of questions going on inside my mind. Together with Phoenix and Angelique, we drove our way towards that location, and even when the weather is not fine, I still pursued coming. It took us an hour and 40 minutes to travel up into the place, it was already night when we get there but it did not stop me from knocking on doors expecting Luciana Omen will appear. "Yes?" an old woman asked as she opened the front door. "Are you looking for someone, sweetie?" she smiled. "I'm sorry for intruding you madame but do you know a person named Luciana Omen by any chance? My mother told me she lives around this area" The old woman's smile fades as she heard what I just said and paused for a minute being hesitant, but she let the three of us come inside her home and sit down on the sofa. She prepared teas for us and even pastries that I don't usually eat. "So" the old woman exhaled as she sat down on the carver chair in front of us. "Why are you searching for her?" "She's my grandmother" I answered. "I have lots of questions that I wanted to ask her, so if you knew her pl-" "I'm sorry" she interrupted. "But Luciana is already dead" I swallowed the lump on my throat as I heard those words, Phoenix quickly held my hand cause she saw how my emotions turned into sorrow. "I am Letticia Omen" the old woman stated. "Luciana is my sister, she used to live here with me but unfortunately she died years ago with pneumonia" I took a look at her teary eyes as she reminisce all of her memories with her, she must be close enough with her sister. And it's sad knowing I didn't have the chance to meet her. "You must be Lucia Gravestone," she said which makes the three of us lift our heads. "Wait for a moment" she added and walk her way towards a shelf of books beside the kitchen. "She told me" Letticia continued. "To hand this letter to you, if you ever come and find her" As she finally saw what she's searching for, Letticia quickly gave it to me and smiled as she look at me. It was an envelope with my grandmother's signature and code name. "It's for you sweetie" I look at my friends for a moment and saw that they are also eager to know what's the words of Luciana Omen on the letter, so I decided to open it and read what's written on the paper. To my Dear Lucia Gravestone, If you are reading this right now, I might be dead or alive. I know you have lots of questions inside your head, but my Dear Lucia I am so sorry that I am not there anymore to answer all of those. I supposed that you already knew about the book I published, entitled Secrets of Hell. I wrote that book not because I just wanted to, but the main reason is for you to understand that Hell is not what you think it is. Hell is real, and it is a place for devils to do their jobs, to punish sinners, and maintain the balance of man-kinds. It was not just a coincidence, I saw it all from your own perspective, you will be brought to Hell by your friend Angelique because she is not just a normal human. She is the reason that you will meet the love of your life, she is a cupid once in her lifetime. I foresaw everything years ago before you were reborn in this world, Phoenix will protect you from bad things so trust the Archangel because she is willing to die for you. The Seven Princes of Hell are the rulers of the underworld, they may be scary creatures because of what the people see them, but inside their hearts, they are heartwarming creatures. They wanted justice, they wanted love and they also wanted peace. Let me tell you about them, Lucia, this is for you to understand that judging a person with their physical appearance is not a good thing to do. Igneous, is the man with his rules. He may be strict and scary when you meet him, he always curses around the people anytime, but when you meet the soft spot of him, he is not what you really think he is. Ash, the youngest among all of them. He acts like the eldest, he acts and decides what's efficient in the situation, but his love is eternal. Cloud, the scratching prince of Hell. He is really smart when it comes to deductions, he's polite and respectful, a down to hell person even though he is a prince. Sin, the Prince of Lust himself. He may be a playboy, flirts everywhere but he will do everything to protect the underworld and his brothers. Quartz, maybe a joker and a funny Prince, but just wants his brothers to take the situation easily instead of being stressed over something that does not last long forever. Dark, the man who obeys everything for the sake of his brothers. He is a loyal servant of Death and Lucifer and could do everything to protect the devil's bride. Last of all is Death, the man with his pride. He will do everything to see his lover again, to love her again, and bring peace towards Hell. Avoid what happened to the events that I had foreseen Lucia because what I wrote in the last part of the book is not the end of the story yet. The Princes and the Hell will be destroyed if you bring yourself to the underworld, so bring them here to the human world and find the Final Seal, bring their wings back, and stop the revelation before it happens. Yours truly, Luciana Omen The three of us exhaled in unison as we saw her words on the letter, but the thing that goes inside my mind is how are we supposed to bring the Princes here in the human world? "We have to find the Book of Portal" Phoenix stated and stared at me. "That book is the key to bring them here" "But where?!" Angelique confusedly asked. "Into the National Library" Phoenix answered. "The Largest library of the country" - The day after yesterday, we quickly go towards the National Library where Phoenix said where the book was. But unfortunately, police officers were around the whole area and they can't let someone go inside for the moment. Chief of Police Rexen Lowell was there, so we immediately approached him and asked what's going on. "A person suddenly burned up the third section of the library, so to stop the flames we need to cover things up and let the firefighters handle it, so I'm terribly sorry if you are not allowed to enter for the moment" he answered while massaging his temples. A person? Burned the library?! This is not just a coincidence, is it? "So what's the plan?" Angelique whispered. "We'll go inside" I stated. "Now"
