CHAPTER THIRTEEN

1107 Words
The Breaking Point The evening air in the mansion was heavy with unspoken tension. The grand dining table was set, adorned with an elaborate feast fit for royalty. Liam sat at the head of the table, his expression calm but with an underlying sharpness. “Call Elsa,” he said firmly to one of the maids. A few minutes later, the maid returned, her hands trembling slightly. “Sir, she said she doesn’t eat with murderers.” The room fell into an uneasy silence. Liam leaned back in his chair, his jaw tightening for a moment before he stood. His voice was low but menacing as he addressed the staff. “Bring her here. Now.” The maids hesitated, exchanging nervous glances. “Do I need to repeat myself?” Liam’s voice cut through the air like a blade. They hurried to Elsa’s room, pleading with her to come, but she refused, her voice defiant even from behind the closed door. Reluctantly, they opened the door and approached her. Elsa fought back, but they eventually managed to lead her downstairs. She arrived at the dining table, her face set in stone, her eyes burning with anger. Liam gestured for her to sit, and she did, reluctantly, without a word. For a moment, the only sound in the room was the clinking of cutlery as Liam began to eat. He looked up at her, his tone deceptively gentle. “Why aren’t you eating? Don’t you like the food? I can have them prepare something else if you’d prefer.” Elsa’s lips curled into a bitter smile as she glared at him. “I don’t eat with murderers, especially those who killed my parents.” Without warning, she grabbed the plate in front of her and flung it to the ground. The sound of shattering porcelain echoed through the room. Liam’s expression darkened, but he remained eerily composed. He stood up slowly, walked around the table, and knelt down to pick up the broken pieces. For a moment, Elsa was taken aback by his calm demeanor. But then, he rose, holding the food and shattered porcelain in his hands. His movements were deliberate as he approached her. “You don’t like wasting food, do you, Elsa?” he said coldly. Before she could react, he shoved the food toward her mouth. “Eat,” he commanded, his voice sharp as steel. Elsa struggled, turning her face away, but his grip was ironclad. She felt the cold, messy mixture against her lips and teeth. When he finally loosened his hold, she spat it back in his face, her defiance unwavering. For a moment, Liam froze. Then, his jaw clenched, and his eyes narrowed, a storm brewing in their depths. He grabbed her roughly, his grip like a vice, and dragged her toward the bathroom. “Let go of me!” Elsa screamed, thrashing against him, but Liam was unrelenting. Once inside, he slammed the door shut and locked it. He pushed her toward the shower, his movements forceful but controlled. Elsa’s heart raced as he began undressing her, his hands pulling at her clothes. “Stop! What are you doing?” she shouted, her voice breaking with panic. Her protests fell on deaf ears. Within moments, she was left in her undergarments, her chest rising and falling as she tried to steady her breathing. “God damn she’s sexy” Liam couldn’t stop admiring the roundness of her breast, with fire burning within his chest. like he could hear the every sound she made, the breath she took. Her neck was ignited an unexplainable fire, he could feel his body betraying the desire he felt, though he tried to keep composure. Liam turned on the shower, and a torrent of icy water poured down on her. Elsa gasped as the freezing water hit her skin, her body shivering uncontrollably. She struggled to find her footing, slipping slightly on the wet tiles. Liam stood there, watching her. His eyes lingered longer than they should have on her trembling form, the way her damp skin glistened under the water, the curves of her breast visible beneath the soaked fabric. Her tiny waist was way too obvious. He could already imagine the warmth of her skin under his touch, the soft curve of her body sending a rush of desire through him. The thought of being so close to her, feeling the weight of his longing grow, made his heart race. His thoughts lingered on the simple yet intimate connection between them, his hands tracing along her breast, sucking her hard n****e with reverence. The tension in the air was palpable, a deep yearning that neither could ignore. For a brief moment, his expression faltered, a flicker of something else crossing his face—desire, perhaps, or frustration at his own reaction, he could feel his body getting harder. Realizing he was dangerously close to losing control, he abruptly turned away and walked out of the bathroom, slamming the door behind him. He locked it from the outside, his breathing uneven. But before he left, his voice rang out coldly through the door. “By the end of tomorrow, your parents will be cremated. If they’re not, I’ll have their bodies scattered in the forest for the worms to feed on.” Elsa’s heart sank, and she banged her fists against the door, her tears falling freely. “Don’t you dare touch my parents!” she screamed, her voice raw with desperation. Liam’s voice remained firm, unshaken. “Do not test me, Elsa. Apologize for your behavior, and I might let you out.” But the harshness in his tone made it clear that there was no room for negotiation. Elsa collapsed on the cold bathroom floor, her body trembling, both from the chill and from the suffocating weight of her grief and rage. “I will kill you,” she whispered between sobs. “I will make you pay.” Liam, his mind still sharp, walked away without another word. His movements were calculated as he retrieved his phone. He dialed a number, his voice cold and controlled. “I need you to find out everything about Elsa’s parents’ deaths. Leave no stone unturned. And most importantly…” His gaze hardened as he spoke into the phone. “Find out why she thinks I’m responsible.” He ended the call with a finality that seemed to hang in the air. As he stared at his phone, the gravity of the situation weighed on him. Elsa might believe she could challenge him, but she was about to learn the consequences of underestimating him.
