CHAPTER 5 KANGAROO POINT When Lillian spotted Donald, she was reminded again of her sister’s unfortunate marriage. Alfred had caught sight of her sister outside his office building only a month after they had arrived in Brisbane. She remembered the day well. Patricia had taken particular care with her black hair, piling it above her slender nape.
