Cullen was sleeping as I slipped out of bed and got dressed. I could feel nothing but love for the man as I moved to his side of the bed and kissed his cheek before leaving the room. With Calliope off with Alastair, Mirya and I were handling things. I wanted everything to go smoothly so she wouldn't have to worry. Cal had been through so much lately that I just wanted her to have a chance to enjoy time and really let the bond form between her and Alastair. I had talked to her just as I woke up; they were still in pack lands and within mind-link range if we needed them, but I told her to take a week. She needed the break, and she needed her mate. She had been so tense lately. Her nerves were setting everyone on edge. I was happy when she told me they were sneaking off to complete the bond.
