The first week of being here was clearing brush and anything in the way of where we wanted to build. We would go into town to get supplies, and we wound up getting a fairly large shed that we put up in a few hours and moved into for shelter.
Luther spent added time helping Cullen gather wood for the fire and working in the makeshift kitchen we had put together. Cullen was an architect and carpenter, so we got lucky having him and he planned our pack lodge,drawing up designs and showing them to me until I was happy with the layout.
When we weren't working, I spent time teaching him about survival in the woods. Starting with the basics. If he was going to be with me, he would need to learn to take care of himself. Though I had made a note, he was talking to his wolf, Osric, more and more.
