Chapter 4: BFF'S day(3): Heartless.

Carl's POV

After waving Livy off, I went over to my locker to drop my books and head to the cafeteria, just to see Rolland standing and leaning against the locker as if waiting for someone.

I went closer to his direction, and

then i saw him lift his head, looking at me to which he waved at me urging me to quicken my steps and I did.

"What's up" i asked when I came closer. "Well, I met this girl and I didn't know how to ask her out so i ..................."he said dragging his voice. "So what ? " I urged seeming impatient as I dropped my books and closed my locker looking at him

"So I invited her in a double date with the disguise of a BFFs day"

"BFFs day?"

"Well she has a best friend and she has one so ...?

"What's her name?" I asked feeling a little familiar in a way

"Stephanie"

"Describe her" I said to which he did and it matched the image or description in my head

"Oh, if that's her then I've met her"

"Hey slow down a bit" Rolland said obviously thinking otherwise.

"It's not what you think, I met her through her best friend" I said successfully calming him down

"You've met her best friend?" obviously shocked by this coincidence, well I am too

"We're in the same class"

"Oh, so about the question earlier"

"I'll come if she's coming" I said and paused again before saying "let's go for lunch"

"Okay"

As we were walking towards the cafeteria, I suddenly remembered something and asked

"What about Tasha?"

"Not interested, never been"

"So why lead her on"

"Just for fun, I've never really liked her she's to clingy but knows how to you know do the stuff,"

"Heartless" I said and Rolland just shrugged with an expression that says 'I don't care'

After we grabbed our lunch we were about to go sit at the place we normally sit, which is usually tagged as 'THE TABLE OF FAME'

When I saw a familiar figure from the corner of my eye, so I turned towards that direction and saw Livy and her best friend Stephanie, with two other people I don't know, so I decided to change seat for today.

Rolland and I walked towards where Livy and Stephanie was.

"Can we sit?" I asked when we got there to which she answered "yeah". I took a sit close to her while Rolland took a sit close to Stephanie.

As we took a sit, we noticed that everybody was looking at us, probably wondering why we're not staying at the usual seat but there two particular gaze focused on us, looking up we saw that It was the two other people that we didn't know.

Fulfilling their wish I asked "what are your names" my tone flat probably because I'm not interested in talking with them.
