AGATHA
“Ouch!” I exclaimed as I was dragged by a person who had a grip on me and tightly held my arm as we headed somewhere.
“Hurry up, before I blow your head off!” he shouted at me, taking large strides away from the room where I was dancing.
I struggled to keep up with him. Aside from him walking fast, I was wearing high-heeled shoes. My feet and legs were hurting, so it was really difficult for me to step properly, especially since he was dragging me.
He brought me to a room where a man holding a gun told me not to make a sound and to keep my mouth shut, so I just swallowed my fear and bowed down in case he might shoot me.
I was extremely grateful when the man who brought me to this room left me here. I didn’t know what fate was waiting for me now, but one thing I knew was that my life was in danger in the hands of the syndicate who had a hold on me at this moment.
I just waited for what would happen next. Despite being scared and nervous, I fell asleep. I woke up when I heard the door open and someone brought me food.
As the door closed, tears started to flow from my eyes. I couldn’t control the fear and frustration that I had been holding in for a long time.
I sat down on the floor, touching my painful ankles. My feet were also injured because I was not used to wearing such high-heeled shoes, so I was struggling.
The torn skin stung, and I saw dried blood on my injured toe. I felt my vision darken for a moment and my breathing tighten as I remembered how Gayuna’s blood spread from her head when she was shot by the man who killed her earlier.
I was just thankful that I was still alive and that I wasn’t hurt by that man, but I was afraid of what might happen to me, especially since I was now locked inside this room’s four corners.
I slowly took off my high-heeled shoes and went to the bathroom. I was grateful to find a robe that I used after taking a shower because my skin felt itchy due to the thick makeup on my face.
I was surprised when I came out and saw Sir George standing there, looking serious and staring at me. I tried to gather courage while standing and tightly holding onto the robe’s strap, making sure he couldn’t see any private part of my body.
I felt frozen in my place as he approached me and his eyes scanned my entire body.
“What a waste that you cost millions, Agatha. I’ve been restraining myself from claiming you, but there’s a lot of money on your head. Even though I want to taste you, I’ll endure it for now, but once Madrigal gets tired of you, I want you stripped naked and lying on that bed when I bring you into this room,” Sir George said to me in a terrifying manner, as if he was possessed by an evil spirit.
I turned my face away just as he was about to kiss me. I was repulsed by him, especially by his foul and nauseating breath, but I couldn’t do anything as Sir George grabbed my neck and squeezed my chest.
I struggled, trying to push him away while trembling all over. The old man full of desire for my body tightly embraced me.
“Stop that, George, or else, I’ll blow your f*****g head!” a man’s voice ordered loudly from a speaker.
Gasping for breath, Sir George released me. He gave me a dirty look and licked his lower lip with a demonic grin before turning around and quickly exiting the room where I was.
I was left trembling in fear while crying. Once again, I survived that old man’s evil intent, but for how long?
I didn’t know how long I sat there, crying until I fell asleep. I had no idea what time I woke up because there was no clock or anything in this room except for a small speaker and a CCTV camera that I knew was watching my every move.
I haven’t been able to leave this room since the man dragged me away from the stage. It has been a few days, but I remained confined in the room I was staying in.
Someone only brings me water and a small amount of food every day to keep me alive. There are no windows in this room, so I feel an overwhelming sadness that almost drives me crazy.
I don’t know what Sir George’s plan is for me, but I have an idea that they have sold me to the man he called Madrigal, so I worry even more about what might happen to me in the hands of that man. Eat, sleep, and exercise to keep my body fit is my daily routine. This is a strict order given by the woman who took care of my meals. Even though I’m in this room, our boss emphasized that I must exercise and follow his rules, or else I will be punished by his men.
I thought I would be locked up in this prison-like room forever, but on the sixth day, two men with firearms suddenly arrived and told me to go with them. Out of great fear, I resisted until I felt something covering my nose, and I suddenly felt dizzy.
My vision grew weak when I regained consciousness. It was dark as I opened my eyes. I couldn’t see anything except darkness, and the only thing I felt was the intense cold penetrating my muscles, along with the loud voices and screams of unknown people.
“And now! For our final round, here’s our prize and trophy!” shouted a man who felt like he was near me.
The black cloth that wrapped around me disappeared, and blinding light greeted my eyes, causing me to quickly shut them due to the brightness.
My eyes widened as I realized that my hands were tied upwards inside a cage. I was wearing a skimpy covering over my intimate parts and surrounded by a multitude of people, while a blinding light was focused on where I stood, so I immediately struggled.
I repeatedly begged to release me, but they were like deaf people, and no one even helped me.
I wanted to scream louder, but my voice was gone. I felt like I was going insane. I couldn’t handle the intense fear and stress I experienced in the hands of the syndicate who held me captive, and it seemed like this was going to be the end for me.
The host called out names. Suddenly, two men entered the ring. They both stared at me as if I were a delicious food that I couldn’t withstand, so I avoided their gaze.
“You’ll be mine later, woman,” one man said while the other cursed at him.
“That is, if you survive,” the other grinned.
I felt intense fear in the way they looked at me. Their eyes were terrifying, as if tearing into my skin, causing my heart to be enveloped in intense worry about what would happen to me at the hands of whoever wins in this game I’m watching.
I witnessed the brutal fight. It was far from the usual boxing matches I watched whenever the famous boxing champion Manny Pacquiao was in the ring. Here, it was bloody, with no other rules but to survive.
My life equaled my body and whoever loses in this boxing match. Lives for life, I was the prize for whoever remains standing in this fight.
I witnessed two consecutive matches until someone unexpectedly entered the ring. He was the man I greatly feared, the one who mercilessly shot Gayuna. His aura was dark, and every step he took towards me was terrifying, with his eyes fixed on my face as if there was nothing I could do to escape him at this moment.
I wanted to avoid his gaze, but he seemed to have a powerful command over me not to try, because I would surely get hurt.
With just his gaze, my knees trembled, and my whole body grew cold. I felt that he held my life in his hands during these moments, and if he was angry at me, this might be my last day in the world.
I heard a loud announcement from a woman, but the man in front of me did not remove his sharp eyes from my face. My heart beats faster as I saw how his eyes pierced through me.
There’s no denying that he’s handsome. There’s an arrogant aura in his almost perfect face if only he knew how to smile. He has a straight nose and thin, red lips, but in exchange, I know that danger accompanies him, so as long as I can avoid him, I will do so. But it seems like my luck has run out because here he is, here for me and to take me.
He would have given off the typical appearance of a leading man in action movies, but I didn’t feel any excitement like what I saw in those movies. I almost held my breath in fear at the way he looked at me before the fight in the ring began.
“For a very rare match, our deadly boxing king is fighting for a beautiful doll!” shouted the man with the microphone as he pointed to the person I feared. Even though I know it’s impossible, I repeatedly asked the Lord again, hoping that all of this would just be a bad dream. I wanted to escape the bloody battle that was unfolding in front of me, as if I were an animal being mercilessly pummeled by the powerful and consecutive punches of the man who killed Gayuna, his opponent.
In just a minute, the bloody fight came to an end. No more lives fell at the feet of the man I feared, the pitiful adversary. In an instant, the cage was opened and the ropes were untied from my hands, then I was pulled by the arm and brought to the front of the ring.
“Claim your beautiful prize, Mr. Madrigal!” the announcer shouted loudly through the microphone, causing my knees to weaken, but the man I feared quickly grabbed my left arm.
“You’re mine now, doll!” Mr. Madrigal, as he was called, said firmly, and it was the last thing I heard before my vision suddenly went dark.
I didn’t notice how the new owner carried me in his arms and quickly walked away from the middle of the boxing ring, grinning as he got into his vehicle.
