loathe: verb
feeling intense dislike or disgust for.
12 am
Tossing and turning in bed, I sigh at how quickly things in my life changed.
I was so focused a few days ago and right now, I'm losing sleep because of two boys.
Pathetic, Rose.
Starting from tomorrow you'll have to get back on track, practice harder.
Feeling bored, I checked my email.

call the lady and go check it out soon!-mom
'URGH!', I groaned, wanting to throw my phone across the room.
She never cared for me when she had to, why's she bothered about where I live?
Go to hell, mother.
Nevertheless, it's a cute place and it's furnished!
I'll have to redecorate some parts but I could see myself there.
Saving the number on my phone, I decided to call in the morning.
Maybe if I occupy my mind with something like this I'll stop thinking about Nicholas...
'Did he tell you about his anger management issues?'
'Rose... Your father has anger management issues, you just have to bear with it.', your mother said filing her nails, not even looking at the bruises on your face.
I loathe the two people who gave birth to me and I'm slowly starting to loathe you too, Nicholas Black.
9 am
'Yes, you can come by anytime!', said the girl, Casey, on the other side of the call.
'I will soon, thank you!', I chimed before ending the phone call.
Waking up this morning, I was ready for my new start. I didn't put on any makeup today but painted my nails.
I wore a pink silk top and a pair of white culottes to match the sunny weather. Putting on my pair of sunglasses, I walked down to the entry of my building.
'She doesn't stay here anymore?'
'I am not allowed to disclose that information, sir.', Clare said, seeming exasperated with the pushy inquirer.
'Do you at least know if she's a dancer here anymore?'
'I cannot say, Mr. Kim, but she is still associated with the company.'
I stopped in my tracks.
Mr. Kim? Like the Jason Kim?
Turning around, I spotted the most gorgeous man on the planet.
A former dancer at Allure, Jason was one of the top danseurs in the country. Everyone wanted to be him.
He later left his job as a principal dancer once he got a job opportunity to work with Gucci.
He was in his last year of training when I joined. All of us used to finish class and crowd near the see-through doors of the senior studio to watch him dance.
I heard he's a photographer and model for Gucci now.
I was internally fangirling over this man who was six years elder to me.
Jason rolled his eyes at Clare and began to walk out of the building, looking right through me.
'Mr. Kim! You left your-', Clare didn't finish because Jason was already halfway across the parking lot.
'I'll give it to him!', I said and snatched the pen from Clare.
Running outside I yelled for Jason, rather unladylike. Before stepping foot in his car, he looked up at me.
'You forgot your pen...', I said, composing myself.
'Oh, thank you...-'
'Rose.', I said, nervously.
'Lovely name, Rose. What's a lady like you looking so ill in this fine weather?'
Ill? I knew I should've put makeup on today. It's probably my puffy eyes.
'I-I'm not ill...', I said, handing him the pen.
He examined me for a second.
'Ah, boy trouble.', he smiled, knowing the reason why I looked like I had just cried.
'More like double boy trouble.', I muttered.
'Have you ever heard the saying- The pen is mightier than the sword?', he spoke as if he were reading a book to an audience, it made you want to sit back and listen.
'Um, yes.', you were befuddled by his randomness.
While twirling the pen around his fingers, he said, 'There is great competition and rivalry between the two... But there is also a third power, stronger than both, that of a woman.', he said matter-of-factly.
I was lost in thought as he popped his pen into his pocket and got into his car.
'It's something to think about. Thank you again, Rose.', he said and drove away.
Interesting.
11 am
Making my way to the apartment I kept thinking about what Jason said, brushing it off immediately as I rang the doorbell to the house.
'You must be Rose, nice to meet you, come in.', a tall, slim middle-aged lady said, opening the door for me.
With each footstep I took my heart grew fonder of the house. I was sold, ready to make it my home.
The landlady spoke with my your mother and the dues were settled. I signed the paperwork and instantly felt like an adult.
My first home. In my name.
'You can start moving in today, if you'd like.'
'Um, yes, I think I will, I don't have too many things to move anyway.'
'All right, we'll keep in touch.', Casey said before shutting the door behind her.
I sunk into the couch, feeling the upholstery as I smiled to myself. Taking out my phone you called your best friend to come help me out.
