choose: verb pick out (someone/something) as being the best or most appropriate of two or more alternatives. 'Get the f**k off of her!', Nicholas yelled, making my head throb. Focusing my eyes on him, whose dark circles and messy hair told me that he was up the whole night, I saw that his suit was misshapen, face was bruised and his hands were covered in deep red. Is that blood? Looking up and down his body with my sleepy eyes, I saw that he was looking at something to my left. To my left was Jonathan. Bare-chested once again. AND I AM SLEEPING ON HIS ARM. I AM PRESSED UP AGAINST HIS HOT BODY. Startled, I jumped out of the bed. 'WHY THE HELL WERE YOU TWO IN THE SAME BED?', Nicholas growled, looking between the two of us. 'Jimin, we didn't do anything I swea-', Jonathan tried to explain, but I cut him off. 'What's it to you Nicholas?', I piqued. I'm sick of his s**t. He acts like he doesn't care about me but then swoops in when he sees me with someone else. Maybe Jonathan is right. After all, you always want something when you don't have it. 'Argh!', Nicholas grunted as he shoved Jonathan against the wall. My hands covered my mouth as I watched the sight before me. Joanthan, with ease, pushed Nicholas back, landing on the bed on top of him. 'YOU KNOW I f*****g LIKE HER! AND YOU KNOW I CAN TREAT HER BETTER THAN YOU CAN. SO STOP BEING SO f*****g INSECURE ABOUT IT!', Jonathan screamed in Nicholas' face. 'THEN SETTLE THIS LIKE A f*****g MAN!', Nicholas yelled back, rolling the two over. Watching his fist come down on Jonathan, I shut my eyes close, waiting for the impact. But it never came. Opening my eyes, I saw Jason holding Nicholas from the back and dragging him outside. 'Who do you think you are?!', Nicholas screamed from the hallway. 'Shut up!', Jason spat. 'I'm sorry you had to see that... And I'm sorry I slept next to you, I wasn't in the right mind last night...', Jonathan said apologetically, his chest heaving after what just happened. I just stared at him wide-mouthed because of what he confessed. 'I'm also sorry for the things I said... Now and last night. That's not how they were supposed to come out...', he said, scratching the back of his neck. 'I can't do this right now.', I said, running out the door feeling the onset of tears that I'm about to drown in. 'Hey!', Jason called, catching me mid-sprint. 'I'm sorry, where's the bathroom?', I asked, wiping my eyes with my sleeve. 'It's over there. Take this. I sent my assistant out to get some clothes for you.', he said, handing me a paper bag. 'Um, thanks.', I said running towards the loo. There's only one person I want to talk to right now. Tapping on her contact name, I stared at myself in the mirror, waiting for her to pick up. 'Hey, where the hell have you been? Are you okay?' As if her voice was a trigger, I sunk to the cold marble tiled floor, hugging my knees to my chest as I ugly cried, explaining the entire story to Tiana. 'When did things get so bad, T?', I desperately asked. 'Ah, Rose, I don't know what to do...', she murmured, 'But you don't need me. If anyone's strong enough, it's you. Why are you, out of all the people, getting upset over boys?' 'They're beating each other up because of me, Tiana! That's not good. My emotions are giving up on me.' 'Rose.' 'Yeah?' 'You have two really good looking men right now, who want to be yours. They're literally fighting for you. I want you to wash yourself up, put on the clothes Jason gave you, which, by the way, you are SO lucky, and then I want you to walk out of that house with pride and dignity. You don't need to make a choice right away, keep the boys waiting, make up your mind later.' 'You're right, thanks T.', I smiled and we hung up. Okay. Let's see what I've got. I washed my face with the face wash that rested on the counter. After snooping a little bit, I found some creams and makeup. I applied a little rose tint to my lips and cheeks and brushed through my hair, leaving it in its wavy mess. I opened the paper bag Jason gave me and my jaw dropped. Inside were a pair of jeans and a sexy, white lace bustier. Gasping when it fit me perfectly, I checked myself out in the mirror. I made my way to the kitchen where Jason stood, pouring himself a bowl of cereal. He looked up and smiled at me. 'How'd you know my size?' 'I'm a model, I think I know a little about these things.' I laughed at his statement, sitting down on the bar stool. 'I just want to thank you... So, so much. You don't even know me and-' 'You're Rose Hunnington- current best female dancer at Allure Academy. I was at the showcase last year. I watched you and Kai, might I say, dashing couple. You're talented and beautiful... No wonder my boys like you.' I genuinely blushed at his words. How I wish I had fallen for you instead, Jason. 'The Jason Kim knows my biography. I am astonished.' 'Haha, don't flatter yourself. I left your shoes and dress there, by the way.', he said, indicating with a nod. 'Oh, thanks.', I said and put on last night's heels. 'Little did I know that the pen and sword you were talking about was Jonathan and Nicholas.', Jason smirked. I let out a nervous laugh, 'But who's the pen and who's the sword?' 'You'll figure that out yourself, darling. Just know that you should choose the one you're lacking in.' I started at him, befuddled by his philosophical words. 'I mean that if you have the qualities of a pen, you should choose the sword, to make yourself stronger. Ultimately, that should be your goal.' 'You are my favourite feminist, Jason.', I teased. 'Please, call me oppa.' I should really learn some Korean if I'm going to be hanging around them so much. 'Um, is that like a hyung?', I innocently asked. 'Sure.', Jason laughed.
