Skylar finished explaining what happened after he left with Erik, then he turned to face me. ‘So, why is Lukas staying here?’ he asked. ‘I made a deal. He was part of it.’ ‘A deal? With whom?’ ‘The shadow figure. His name is Damon.’ Skylar growled at the mention of his name. ‘Lukas works for him?’ ‘I’m not sure. I made a deal with Damon to help me get free of Mr Akuma.’ ‘Why would you make a deal with him to begin with?’ ‘I had to; I didn’t have much choice.’ ‘You always have a choice.’ ‘The other choices weren’t even something I wanted to consider.
