As for Gael, he delivered the flowers to Doc as soon as possible and ran over to his house as he was told by his mother to clean and do the chores.
Suddenly the trumpets and drums started playing.
“I see, they’ve arrived at last! I hope they would be mesmerized with the orchids falling on top of them.” smiled Gael, “And I hope Doc doesn’t mess things up!”
“Ah, they’re here! Everyone, they're finally here!” A man running into the town and telling everyone that the King and Queen arrived.
Everyone then hurried over to The Garden Of Blossoms. Then they saw the King and Queen arriving in a chariot. Several loyal guards covered them up. Everybody bowed to them and started praising, “All hail the sires!”
“We love you Kingdom Of Eveleynia!”
“Thank you for saving us!” All of the people started to cheer them up as the King and Queen waved at them all.
“They’re such loving people!” emphasized the King.
Suddenly the Kind looked up and saw that Orchids were falling. He couldn’t see who was pouring those flowers. The Orchids not only fell on them but it was poured throughout the entire Garden over everyone. All of them were astonished by it. And they all started looking up to who was pouring them, but no one could find who was the person behind this.
“It is the heavens! The Heaven is pouring Orchids as they see the Sires arrive. It's Heaven's blessing!” shouted a man from the back.
Everyone then fell into the belief that it was Heaven pouring it out.
“Doctor, are you sure you don’t want those people to see the drone? They would know that it was one of Gael’s creations. And where is it anyway? I don’t see it.” questioned curious Lara.
“Ah yes, I do want them too! But Gael gave me this drone attached along with this gadget which I assume can camouflage itself to the nearby environment. I don’t know the reasons, but he did it that way. The only thing I know to do is to control this push button which will eventually pour out those Orchids.”
“Camouflage? This Gael kid is awesome!” Lara chuckled.
Meanwhile in the borders.
“Orwan, have you picked anything yet?” asked Khalia.
“No, not yet. I guess he’s still out of my range. But I have this weird feeling, which is an indication of many senses.” cautioned Orwan.
“Many senses? What are you talking about?” questioned Khalia.
Orwan has an Engine Form that heals people or in other words, he is kind of a doctor. His Engine Form can sense people’s pulse rate from a distance. The people who possess Engine Form have a brain pulse rate higher than that of an average human brain as these types of people rely entirely on their intelligence which makes their pulse rate even far greater than every human’s pulse or in other words completely different from normal humans. And that is exactly why Orwan can sense who has a higher pulse or in other words who has an Engine Form. Even so, the Engine Form of Orwan still has a range up to where he can sense.
Orwan hid back behind the rock they were hiding and alleged them, “It’s like all their pulses are exactly reacting to one thing. This one thing is an Engine Form or not, I haven’t received that yet. But let’s just assume that there is something wrong.”
“Well, you heard him, guys. All of you, be on your guard. And be prepared for battle when the time comes. Is that clear everyone?” instructed Khalia.
“Right!”
“Roger!”
Everyone responded and were keenly observing what was going to happen.
“Khalia! Everything is fine on my side! Nothing has occurred yet!” shouted Elijah from a distance away as he was hiding somewhere close to the capital.
“That is so strange. How is nothing happening? What is Reuter’s army up to?” questioned Perria.
All five of them started to look carefully at the crowd to see if there were any signs of the enemy.
“Everything is just normal. I see nothing unusual.” described Andel.
Everything was just calm and usual. They did not see any enemy attack or anything weird or strange happening.
But then suddenly, one of the loyal guards who were guarding the King and Queen in the chariot took out his g*n and shot the leg of the horse which was carrying the chariot. The Horse lost control and slipped and fell. Everyone panicked. And by the time King tried to get up and looked out for the loyal guard, the other loyal guards started getting their guns out and started to shoot places here and there.
“WHAT THE HELL? Reuter’s army were the loyal guards??” shouted Catie.
Khalia looked confused and said, “We have no time to think now! Everyone! Let’s head there now!”
All the five of them headed there as soon as they could and started getting the people out of there as fast as they could.
Everyone started fighting there on the spot. The military vs the loyal guards. The military was confused as they just had their alignment with the Kingdom. Yet they never refused and continued fighting them anyway. It was more like a war.
Khalia and the others suddenly were surrounded by a bunch of loyal guards.
“Elijah,” Khalia announced as she looked at all of the guards.
“On it!” responded Elijah as he was somewhere on top of a building hiding somewhere and aiming.
And then without even a second being counted there were slight gunshots heard and all the 13 guards who surrounded them just collapsed.
“Elijah, you didn’t kill em’, right? We still need them.” Perria mentioned.
“Nah I didn’t. I just shot their legs with a tranquilizer. Man, what the hell? I thought it would be a show out here!” Elijah said recklessly.
“What is happening? They just collapsed so soon. And they aren’t even putting up a fight yet.” Thought Orwan in his mind, “Could they be...”
Suddenly from all sides, all of the Loyal guards started surrounding the entire place. And this time it was the entire army surrounding them.
“Wow, they’re pretty dumb to come at us. Aren’t they?” grinned Catie, “Well! It was their choice-”
“No wait!” interrupted Orwan, “This is weird. I do sense high pulses from all of them, but these pulses are not that of Engine Form but it feels like to be something of complete fear. It’s beating too fast. Their heartbeats are beating very fast! This is the exact rate at which the heart beats when you're in an immense amount of fear.”
“What? You mean they weren’t having Engine Form at all? And they’re just normal people?” queried Elijah.
“No. They don’t have an Engine Form. And I am pretty sure of that.” answered Orwan as he slowly started to realize something, “They’re being manipulated! Everyone don’t attack! They’re just random humans!”
“Orwan, are you sure?” questioned Khalia.
“Yes! I am sure! These people are normal humans. They’re just being manipulated by a person who has such an Engine Form that can do such a thing. But we must still be careful. As these people still do have great weapons.” advised Orwan.
“Well! We can’t do anything about it though. We need to still kill them as they’re going to attack us. Now, what are we waiting for? Let’s do this already!” grinned Catie as her fingernails started growing faster.
“No! No one is going to attack!” Khalia stopped Catie and declared, “You guys heard Orwan. They’re just normal humans. They are just being controlled by this person who has an Engine Form that can influence these people. So for now we won’t attack them. We will just knock them out.”
“Alrighty then!” agreed Elijah and the others. And they started fighting them off. Elijah took his rifle and started knocking all of them one by one, Catie shortened her fingernails and bent them so that it won’t strike or hurt them and just knock them off, Perria was already tired and she didn’t want to use her ability on these guards, so Andel backed her up, he started to knock them off by slight kicks, Orwan with the help of his medical Engine Form, made all the guards fall unconscious by hitting some vital organs of the body and Khalia without taking the sword out she started tapping all of them out with the help of the sword’s scabbard.
All of them were focused on fighting. And then suddenly from the above, the other Loyal guards jumped. And this time there were more. Just the time when Andel was a bit far from Perria, all the guards started attacking her.
Then out of nowhere, a gas fell from the above targeting only the guards, and the guards fell asleep soon enough. Perria looked above to see that it was a boy having a controller and she was pretty confused as she couldn’t see from where the gas just ruptured.
