[Trent’s POV] I hold Gabby against me while Trudy watches us with a look of hurt and anger. When I came home from work I wasn’t expecting to walk into drama, and I was having a hard time keeping my temper in check. “How did you get in here?” I ask Trudy now, narrowing my gaze on her. “What have I told you about just showing up when you want?” “Katie made me a spare key,” Trudy responds smugly. “She said I could come anytime I wanted.” At her words, I feel Gabby tense against me, and I already know what is going through her head.
