Raelynn's POV

"I couldn't talk to you without bringing you here. This is the only way." the Goddess says as she walks to a beautiful green wroght iron bench. She pats the seat next to her. "Raelynn, I am sure you have questions about what just happened. But let me start with, there is a reason your family are the Royals. The women in your family posess this ability to control things. The how is different with each woman. I need you to understand that, while you may be different from other wolves, it is your unique ability to do things others can not, that make you a Royal."

"But how will I know how to control this ability? I don't need to hurt anyone. I've never wanted to hurt anyone. Even though theres rumors that I killed my parents. Did I kill them?" I plead.

"No, my dear you did not. Their death is not yours to carry blame for. They loved you very much." Goddess places and hand on mine.

"So, what do I do now that I know I am a Royal, but am fated to an Alpha. I can't ask him to give up his pack."

"My dear, no one said you had to be a Royal and rule from a particular place, if this pack is where you want to be then that is where you can rule from. However, I would ask him if he is ready to not only be an Alpha of his pack, but the Alpha King over all the packs. But now you must go. Good luck my dear."

Suddenly, I am no longer in the beautiful garden, but in my room at the pack house. Night has already come and I find myself being held in Jace's arms while he sleeps. He must have brought me back here after the incident at the training grounds. I lean over and kiss his lips. Suddenly, I am lost in those gorgeous green eyes of his.

"Are you okay? Should I get the doctor?" He asks.

"No, I am fine. Just had a long nap while having a conversation with the Goddess."

"Excuse me? You talked with the Goddess? And you say you don't need a doctor."

I chuckle. "Yes, she pulled me into her realm to speak with me after I passed out. She wanted to tell me that what I did at the training grounds to the prisoner was what makes me unique and that all the women of the Royal family had an ability to do something normal wolves can not. She also mentioned you."

"Me? Does she not find me worthy of your Royal highness?" he says as he kisses my lips.

"You know that she picks our fated mates well before we even breathe. However, she did say I need to make sure that if we are meant to be with each other, that you are ready and able to take on alot more than you already do if we are to be together."

"Like what?" he says as he kisses down to my neck.

"Like being the Alpha King"

Jace's POV

I wasn't even Alpha yet since Raelynn and I had just found each other. The Alpha ceremony hasn't happened yet and now, in order to be with Raelynn, I would be Alpha King. To rule beside her over all the packs not just mine. Am I ready for that? I drag my hands over my face and stare up at the ceiling.

"Alpha King.... that means we would have to move correct?"

"No, the Goddess says we would be able to rule from here if that is what we chose to do. The decision would be ours. However, if you choose to not take your place beside me and rule as the Alpha King, then I would have to relocate. And unfortunately I would have to find a King to rule by my side, continuing on the Royal line as well."

The thought of another wolf putting his hands on my mate made me furious, but the thought of another claiming her and mating with her, making her belly round with pups, made my blood boil.

If you allow this to happen, I may never speak to you again. Any pups Raelynn and Miska have are supppose to be ours. Not some other wolf.

I understand. I just don't know if I am capable of being King.

Well instead of worrying about if you think you have what it takes to be King. Ask yourself, do you have what it takes to lose her... for good?

I shake my head and climb out of bed. I can feel Raelynn's eyes on me as I pull my shirt over my head. I disappear into the bathroom for a moment but when I return Raelynn is out of bed and dressed.

"What are you doing out of bed? You should rest."

"Excuse me but I am not something that will break and last time I checked I didn't get doctors orders stating I was on mandatory bed rest. I need to find something to do to busy myself. "

"Please do not leave the pack house today. I just want you to be safe."

"The prisoner has been found and captured, or did you forget all that." she rolls her eyes as she walks past me and out the door.

This woman is going to furiate me. We haven't even mated yet and shes always getting the last word in or shes just doing whatever she wants. She is definately embrassing this roayl side of herself. She will make one hell of a Queen. I mindlink my father and ask for him to meet me in his office.

As I enter the office, my father is speaking on the phone. He finishes as I enter and looks at me to discuss what I requested to talk to him about.

"So, Raelynn is a Royal." I start.

"Yes, we have discovered that. and that her family is dead, unfortunately. They were great leaders. I feel bad that Raelynn lost her parents at such a young age."

"Okay, well obviously, as a Royal, she has certain duties that are expected of her. She will be the ruler over all the packs."

"Is this about her having to leave?"

"No, well I dunno. She's my mate. I have waited my whole life for her. Now she may leave me if I don't claim her as mine."

"So claim -"

"I would have to also accept my position as Alpha King as well if I took her as my mate, and rule alongside her." I say quickly. I am not sure how my father will react.

"Well son, if she is your fated mate, and you want to have her as your, then your only choice would be to take your place at her side. But what does that mean for our pack?"

"Raelynn said that the Goddess told her, she could rule from here. That I could be Alpha King of all the packs, as well as command as Alpha over our pack. They would become the Royal pack."

"I think that would be a wonderful thing for you. When you are with your fated mate, you are stronger than without. The pack would benefit greatly from this union as well. Best part being the two of you would have each other."

I walk back to Raelynn's room to see if she has returned. There was alot to discuss. Also alot to plan. As my fated mate, there must be the wedding, because I want nothing more than for Raelynn to be my wife and be able to complete the mate bond. Then there is the Luna ceremony, which may be more than normal since she will now be Queen Luna.
