CHAPTER 5: Mr. X versus Suoic Ipsus

By now, the hall within Suoic Ipsus’ domain had already crumbled. Ms. Z and I were protecting the people from their fight. For ten long minutes, we thought of finding a way to save the people… until Ms. Z proposed the idea of going through the race that the monstrous god was explaining. If we finish the race and at least one of us survives, the passengers of the bus, including the driver, the conductor… and us… will be transported back to that world. As the two clashed with their fists… Mr. X in his God Mode or God State and Suoic Ipsus in his Metamorphosed State looking like a demonic dragonfly-like entity, we safely led the people out and found ourselves in an obstacle… death race… [Ms. Y’s POV]

We explained everything to the civilians about how to get back to their world. It was a difficult decision to make, but they all finally went with it. However, our worries became more worrisome as Suoic Ipsus noticed us! At the moment, Mr. X’s job was to prevent Suoic Ipsus from making sure that nobody finished the race!

I too made sure to protect the civilians while Ms. Z went on to do the race to reach the goal… the finish line. I was planning to intercept Suoic Ipsus’ attempted moves in destroying the race track! Mr. X too was making sure to protect the civilians while running for their lives in hope to end their agony. This resulted to Mr. X getting hit by the monstrous god’s attacks for the first time… Thankfully, his godly form prevented much damage on his body… but still… it was brutal to watch him get shot by beams coming from Suoic Ipsus.

[Mr. X’s POV]

“SHET!”

It’s good that I’m in god mode. If not, I would’ve become just another Mr. X of the Emissaries. As long as they can make it, I’ll keep on using my powers for them to live. If I’m a bit luckier though, I could’ve ended this demon in the first place…

Wait…

I have an idea…

I’ll destroy his mansion!

Without warning, I fired a huge beam of energy at him. Seeing that as large as he was, his speed was unbelievably topnotch.

“WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO HIT, MR. X?” he laughed at me for my mistake.

Or was it?

“Look behind you, dumbass…”

He wished he never did…

As a huge explosion was set off… his Casa Blanca… cremated in front of him. Goodbye decorated mansion… goodbye…

“YOU… MY… HOME…” his aura became enormously erratic.

But when he looked back at me… I told him…

“Where are you looking at?”

*PAW*

I gave him a massive right hook and sent him crashing down his destroyed mansion. I picked him up and slammed him repeatedly on the broken glass mosaic and then threw him on a pillar as it came crashing down on the ground.

“You had your way with me when I was protecting the civilians!” I said begrudgingly as I approached him, “By now, they would all be a few meters near the end… and you… have your second failure…”

I picked him up and threw him across another pillar.

“…all thanks to me.”

Suddenly, Slices of air passed through my body as blood gushed out. Suoic Ipsus stood up, seemingly the one delivering the attack.

“I should thank them though,” he cracked his four fists as he approached me while his wounds regenerated. “Because you protect them, I was able to hit a lot…”

He then cracked his neck twice, a crack to the left and then a crack to the right…

“But I never had the idea that you were a god,” he continued to make slashes through the air as I backed off like an acrobat evading his strikes. “Who is your Supreme Being and what kind of deity are you?”

“I’m not a god,” I answered him…

Hearing the “okay” signal from Ms. Y that the civilians finally escaped… I crossed my fingers and gave the power of luck back to myself.

“I’m a human… an Emissary of Balance,” I flew up high in the sky. “My name is Mr. X and I have the Blessing called Destiny’s Coil…”

I zoomed in towards him as he flexed his highly muscular legs…

“IF YOU’RE NOT A GOD, THEN YOU DON’T HAVE TO INTERFERE WITH MY BUSINESS!”

Instead of zooming in towards me, he headed straight towards Ms. Y and Ms. Z.

Immediately, I coiled their destinies to protect them from his attack!

However, I was duped into thinking that they were the ones being attacked… as I was hit by a blast of his energy beam!

“IT LOOKS LIKE MY DEDUCTIONS ARE CORRECT,” he grinned as he looked back at me, with his two right hands still aimed at them and his two left hands smoking from the beams he just shot. “YOUR LUCK WILL LEAVE YOUR SIDE WHEN YOU PROTECT PEOPLE…”

*KOFF!*

I coughed out blood… I could hear ringing in my ears as my blurry eyes slowly returned back to focus. As I make it back to my feet, he was already right in front of me and gave me a massive kick that threw me off the map.

Luckily, I have this lucky armor with me that I obtained after entering the God Mode. The damage didn’t kill me, but it hurt as hell… Thinking that I was still dazed, he charged at me again… but I planned it all for him to think that I was still dizzy…

Because when he was inches towards me, I immediately grabbed on to his face but not nearly enough to cover it… and gave it an uppercut! Followed by a full frontal kick and not giving him a chance to recover I gave him another massive kick from above as he came crashing down below!

And then… from out of nowhere, in their own God Mode, Ms. Y and Ms. Z shielded me from a surprise attack from two unknown Destiny Seekers!!! A third one appeared as well digging up Suoic Ipsus who was buried under the rubble…

The third one I fully recognized… Ara Kuneida, Suoic Ipsus’ sister. That meant that these two who could’ve hit me, if it weren’t for Ms. Y and Ms. Z protecting me plus my luck, could be his siblings as well…

“I didn’t notice that he had companions,” the one with the swords backed off from us.

“So was I,” said that translucent one who backed off as well…

“Are you okay?” Ms. Y patted me in the back.

“We’re in this together,” Ms. Z nodded at me.

“Alright girls, prepare yourselves…” I crossed my fingers once more.

“You two, come down here,” Ara called his siblings back and then she looked back at us… at me. “Hello Mr. X, how long has it been?”

“I don’t know,” I was keeping my guard up and so were my two companions, “it depends on what timeline you are referring to or what present time is to you.”

“You look different,” she said while her two other siblings started to metamorphose into monsters as she remained in her human form, “you feel different, but you still act the same…”

“You saw what I did to Suoic Ipsus,” I brought out the Alpha Boss Blades with me. “I could do the same with those two there if you don’t tell them to calm down!”

“It’s not like you can order a goddess like me,” she slowly metamorphosed into a monster, herself, leaving her head human. “After all, you are trespassing in our territory.”

“How about we just cut to the chase and fight?” Ms. Y brought out the big guns.

“I’ll take on the translucent monster,” Ms. Z brought out her Alpha Boss Hammer as well.

“So you mean, I will take on the two down below?” I looked at Suoic Ipsus who just dug out from the debris that buried him and Ara Kuneida who seemed to finally turned into a spider-dragonfly-like monster. “So, a dragon-dragonfly and a spider-dragonfly versus… me in a handicap match…”

“You can all sit this one kids,” the gateway opened up as three horrifying tentacles grabbed the three of us back inside the Headquarters. Master W showed himself in front of the four Destiny Seekers. “I will take these kids on by myself…”

“Old man Warden,” Suoic Ipsus gritted his teeth. “So you are one of them. Traitor to our kind…”

“Destiny betrayed us all, and you all went with it,” Master W spread out all of his clawed tentacles. “I am the last Destiny Weaver… while the rest of you became Destiny Seekers… Suoic Ipsus, Ara Kuneida, Berdor Niel, and Zonoute. I will not warn you again after this. You still have a chance to set things right…”

“Destiny can be controlled, Old man Warden,” Berdor, the sword-wielding monster, raised his sword at Master W. “Turning back means that I would just let Destiny control me.”

“My body is right,” Zonoute, the ghostly monster who referred to Berdor as his body, twitched a couple of times while staring blankly at Master W, “and as its soul, I also want to control the Destinies of the mortal beings and do as I like…”

“The answer is overwhelming Old man Warden,” Suoic Ipsus snaps his fingers and his domain started to crumble. “However, it is too bad that we have to leave for now…”

Ara opened up a portal behind them as I gaze at them entering… about to enter.

“MR. X,” Suoic Ipsus glared at me with his bloodshot eyes as he metamorphosed back into his human form, “WITH THESE DEVELOPMENTS, OUR BATTLE WILL BE PUT ON HOLD… I WILL STILL KILL YOU THOUGH…”

“Bye Mr. X,” Ara Kuneida bade me farewell as the portal closed.

Master W returned back into Mr. O’s gateway as I looked down at the crumbling domain of that damned god as black particles swallowed up his world. The gateway closed and we returned back to normal…

As I returned back to normal, I felt… … …odd… and tired… and I fell into a deep slumber…

[Suoic Ipsus’ POV]

“We need to report this back to father.”

“Father left for Life Verse, I don’t know when he’ll return,” Berdor told me as he metamorphosed back to his human form.

“What’s the problem, Suoic?” Zonoute stared blankly at me. “You look like you need water…”

“Wolfe F’lux, Old man Warden, Mr. X, and this Emissary of Balance,” I brought my cane out and slammed it on the floor. “They are my current problems…”

“We can talk this out with Czarina,” Ara quickly thought of that suggestion. “I mean, she and F’lux are the only two who could go to father…”

“F’lux brought Mr. X to me as if they made an alliance.”

“You mean to say that F’lux is a traitor,” Berdor clenched his fists. “This is why I was against father’s decision in turning a human like him into a god like us…”

“I don’t know yet,” I made a chair appear behind me and sat down on it. “He immediately left and never provided those three humans with support… which is confusing if he was really a traitor…”

“Now that I think about it,” Zonoute made a discovery. “Did you notice the disappearance of Judi, Egot, and Fixa?”

“You’re right,” Ara looked concerned. “We should check out their domain and investigate…”

“The three of you should go and investigate,” I stood up and started manipulating the black particles. “I’ll rebuild my domain somewhere around here once again. Call me when you find something…”

Something is up… I’m sure of it. This is all too convenient…

Father Exyd leaving, Czarina… or rather… Injectro and that Weirdo coming here like supervisors, and then the revelation of Mr. X’s origin and his connection with Old man Warden…

I need to dig into this… … I need to know… …

[Ara Kuneida’s POV]

“Uh,” I felt my stomach churned. “Oh my goodness, what in the world happened here?”

“The gore here happened just an hour and a half ago… approximately…” Berdor analyzed the situation. “There are destroyed walls… and a bunch of claw marks…”

“I remember those humans only using guns and swords…” I examined the claw marks. “Suoic also told us that Wolfe brought them there…”

“So that must mean that we found our culprit, right?” Zonoute checked out the destroyed walls.

“Culprits…” I was meaning to make this conclusion… but it would definitely hurt our friendship… “Czarina could be on it too…”
