Much to my surprise, when we entered the kitchen Genie was sitting at the table with Nova, the king, and Eira. They all had big bowls of ice cream in front of them and were laughing at one of the king’s animated stories. “Genie! What a pleasant surprise!” Ari bounced over to him and wrapped her arms around his shoulders, before settling in between him and Nova. Smiling gently, he turned to greet Maverick and I. “Eve, always a pleasure. Where is your brother? I came to speak to you all.” Awk... “He’s… uh-” Genie raised his serious eyebrow and tilted his head to the side. “We gave him and Clara a truth telling curse so we could practice un-cursing people, but they decided it was fun so they’re off telling each other secrets somewhere. Do you want me to go get them?” Ari was still right
