A Dragon's Life For ME
Lucian and I soared through the sky for hours. I had no idea how to get back to my palace, but my brother seemed to know the way. We danced in the air, doing flips and dives along the way. We flew across an ocean and dipped the tips of our wings into the warm water. When I first saw my reflection I was mesmerized. My scales were hues of amber and black each one dazzling in the sunlight. My wings stretched twenty feet in either direction. My eyes were glowing the brightest I’d ever seen them. If I was in my human form I would have cried at the sight. I was beautiful. We flew as high as we could, just to see how far we could go.
