An Unexpected Turn of EventsJetspeed saw a ghostly shadow hovering over Larry. It was black and smoky, with a pale gray hood. As Hardwire tried to grab the cane, Larry snatched it up and sprayed Hardwire’s purple shoes with Disappearing Stink.
Whoosh! The stink turned gray and hit the ground, neutralized by Jetspeed’s Appearing Ink.
Larry shook his fist at her. “Grrr, you got in my way, Jetspeed.”
Hardwire glared at Larry. “I’m your opponent, and I’ll beat you so Jetspeed doesn’t have to waste her time on you.”
“Forget it, clown. She’s the one I’m after,” Larry said. He sprayed his stink at Jetspeed. As she used her ink against it, Hardwire sneaked behind Larry but got tripped by the hooded thing. He and Larry both fell down.
Larry got up and shot more stink at Hardwire, but Jetspeed
