In the doorway Joel stood with his figure barely discernible, as the shaft of light coming in from the hall illuminated only his upper half. His whole countenance was awash with rage, his hands balled into fists as he stood. Not wasting any time around, he rushed in and set his sights on Mark. “Take your hands off her,” Joel said in a very angry tone, what he stated sounded more like a growl. An emotion drew Mark on his face when he looked at Joel – from the start of surprise and to an unkind sneer, the clamp on the knife grew firm as he headed back from Olivia and confronted Joel. “Hello, Sinclair,” he said in a tone that would probably make the brave run for their bosoms. “Here to play the hero? I know you still have question- ‘You do not know – she is with me’ “She was never yours!”
