“Promise me you will undo this?” Dylan’s focus is on the fire that brights up the room and the heat that is filling the place in seconds.
Even though he took my entire life in one night and placed me in a position where I wish not to be, I still can’t shake the desire I have for him.
I still have so many questions about all of this. Why he won’t kill me if that will give him all the power he needs to beat the other Alphas? Why does he choose to keep me safe?
What does it even mean if he wins the battle? Or better yet, what will happen to him if he loses? Will I still be safe? Or will I be killed?
“Dylan?” I said in a much calmer voice than before.
