Beta Edward POV
The agony I am feeling right now is off the scale, who would have thought that this type of pain was possible?
I feel Brenda walk to the territory boundary and step over it, she rejects her place in this pack and me as her mate. Why? Why would she do this?
After a few moments the pain starts to recede and I feel my wolf whimper, I start to get my surroundings coming back to me and instead of fining myself on the floor I instead find myself in the arms of Beta Pete.
“Are you ok?” He asks me, worried coating his words as he helps me to sit back in my chair.
I shake my head.
“My mate has just left the pack and rejected me.” I reply broken.
