After trashing my office Edward takes me out of the pack house and down to the training grounds where I pretty much demolish that as well.
“Who do the council think they are? Some one should put them in their place! They are not deities!” I growl.
“They have gotten away with acts like this for so long that the power has gone to their heads, but who are we to stop them? To go against them is treason.” Beta Edward says, holding onto the punch bag to try to stop me from ruining this one like the last three.
“I know, but… sigh, things were just working out for Emma and me. We were happy and starting our life together but now? I feel like I am about to lose her.” I share with Edward. My heart already starts to feel a bit lighter.
