“Where is Inga?” I ask once we are back in Nicholas’ office.
“The guards have taken him to their bunker. He is fine, I just wanted him removed from the situation to calm everything down.” Nicholas says to me.
I smile at him. “You didn’t lock him up?”
“No, there was something off about him. Almost as if he didn’t know what he was doing.”
“You noticed it too?” I ask.
“Noticed what?” Dad asks.
“His eyes were misted over, as if something had taken a hold of him.” Nicholas explains.
“Could be his powers, it might be that while he has ascended, he has not met the requirements, so his powers are going crazy.” Dad suggests.
“What do you mean?” I ask.
“Exactly that. When someone ascends, they need to be ready to die, knowing that there is not going back to life is the final part
