Eric POV
“What is it you want?” Alpha Inga asks me.
“I want to… apologize.” I say, not really knowing what else to say. I sound pathetic to myself but I need to see Emma again, even if for just once.
“The high and mighty Eric? The one who thought he could take on a goddess and win, wants to apologize to me?” Alpha Inga asks me mockingly.
“No, to Emma.” I say.
“As you can see she is not here, what a shame. You had a wasted trip. Goodbye.” Alpha Inga says to me, dismissing me.
I stand there shocked, is this happening? An alpha is treating a guest in this manner, it is disgraceful. Not that I am one to talk if going by my track record, but at least I never spoke to a guest like that.
