Prologue-

Nothing is ever as easy or happy as it seems. After the battle everyone thought that they would be able to go on with their lives and live happily ever after. Little did they know that the storm they had been fighting against had only just begun.
For the last year they had been living in the eye of the storm, but now everything and everyone they know is about to change...
Emma and Ingas lives are about to be turned upside down.
Emma POV
"You cannot leave me." I cry.
"I don't want to but I don't have a choice, babe. I don't want to hurt you, babe. Please. Leave this place and don't come back, for me. Please." Inga begs.
"I don't want to," I say, knowing that what he is saying is right.
But knowing is not the same as feeling, and right now my emotions are crippling me. I cannot go on without him.
"Go babe, before you are stuck here too. This trap is closing and you have to go. NOW!" Inga urges me, letting go of my hands and pushing me away from him and towards a strip of light that has appeared a few feet away.
The doorway back to reality.
My feet move of their own accord while my heart is shattering.
"Goodbye," I whisper as I walk away, tears flowing down my face and my heart breaking with each step.
