Edward POV
I stomp up the stairs behind my alpha and soon-to-be Luna. I know that I should be happy that they have returned, and I am. But that does not take away from the fact that Jane, Mitch and I were worried sick about Emma.
“WHAT THE HELL WAS YOU THINKING?” I shout.
I know I should not be getting angry at them, but I cannot help it. While I am pleased that Alpha Inga is back and that they are both safe, I am still annoyed that Emma went without consulting us. We had a plan, and she still did what she wanted.
“Anything could have happened.” I say angrily, glaring at Emma.
“While that is true, nothing did happen.” Emma replies calmly.
“That is not the point!” I shout.
Jane comes over and rubs my arm to calm me down, while it helps a lot I still cannot calm down fully.
