Alpha Nicholas POV
Why can nothing ever be simple? I swear my life just keeps getting harder and harder lately. I look at Emma as I enter the room and smile sadly to myself, her life must be getting harder too.
Emma stands there stoic with a brave face but I can see the toll the events are taking on her. Why can’t she just have the happy ending she deserves?
“So, we have news on the account.” I say, closing the door behind me.
“Oh?” Emma looks over, her eyes shining with curiosity.
“Whoever opened it covered their tracks very well, while we are unable to prove that it is Alpha Inga it is also difficult to prove that it is not. Whoever did it knew that they would be discovered but took precautions.” I explain.
