I really, really do not want to be here. I would much rather be back home helping to look after Emma. While I know she is not my sister, I cannot help but feel protective over her. She is small and delicate, looking more like a young girl who needs a hand to hold.
While she may be a goddess, she does not give off that vibe and learning her past just makes me want to help protect her all the more. I remember the day Alpha Nicholas confided in me about his father and Emma being his half sister.
It almost broke me seeing him break down in floods of tears at the abuse she suffered at the hands of her family and pack, even more so when Alpha Nicholas refused to approach her as he didn’t want to burden her with the truth about her father.
