The mate bond? Why would anyone go after the mate bond, it doesn't make sense. It is created between two beings, it would be useless to others.
"A bond only affects the wolf's connected, I can't understand it." I say after a few moments of silence.
"A bond affects more than that, it affects everyone around them. A bond was originally formed between wolves to help identify another wolf, it was never about love." Emma says.
"But the sparks..."
"They were.... more of a warning that the person in front of you was about to change your life. In history we were more animalistic than we are now, so the stronger partner would dominate the weaker one and make them submit."
"That doesn't sound like the bond at all." I reply.
"No? Didn't you find your wolf submitting?" Emma
