CHAPTER 12Darsha must have fallen asleep for she jerked awake when the Land Rover braked suddenly. She opened her eyes and realised that in her sleep she had moved so was not hidden beneath the cab window. In fact, one of her arms had swung right up to grab the top window ledge.
Worse still was that she could see Titan's eyes in the interior mirror staring directly at her. The look on his face told her everything. It was a cross between anger, surprise and contempt. She couldn't hear him swear but could lip-read the words he uttered.
