Maria’s POV This was all Ruby’s fault. If she hadn’t gotten me riled up, I wouldn’t have shouted so openly for everyone to hear. And now Lucas was standing in front of me demanding answers, and half the cafe was looking at me. “Well?” Lucas said impatiently. I looked up at him, but I wasn’t sure exactly how to answer, not with all those people looking at me. Just then, Lucas turned around and faced the people in the cafe. “It’s alright, everyone.
