Cleis lets go of the Wolf’s body and digs his jacket pocket for the feather as he tries to clear his mind from the memories of his first love. This time, this century’s Firebird, had made it nearly impossible to keep the memories at bay. He pulls out a golden feather, devoid of light.  “So, as I was saying. You have two choices, if you really love her then well, it’s not really a choice is it?”  Cleis raises his hand and waves the golden feather in front of Noah’s eyes, smiling proudly. “Do you have any idea how old this feather is? Older than you can possibly imagine kid” Noah’s defiant silence and low grumble propels Cleis to continue his monologue. “It has never failed me.
