There was no way I could go back to Miguel's place and pretend nothing happened between Kane and I. I have to tell him the truth. I turned my phone back on and saw several missed calls from Zara.
"Alana, where have you been? I've been calling you all day."
"I was out of the country; I just came back. I'll tell you everything later...I'm almost at Miguel's place."
"You might not want to go there."
"Why?"
"He knows you were out of the country with Kane."
"What? How?"
"Why didn't you tell me you were with Kane?! And out of the country?!"

"I don't know who told him but he knows everything. He came to my hotel room to confirm if what he was told was true. I tried to cover for you, but nothing I said worked. He already knew the truth."
