Dimitri “Come here.” For ten minutes I had watched her open and close cupboard doors, checking the contents for any sign of a lid being left undone. She was getting upset again. I could tell by the increasingly angry way she slammed each one shut when she came back empty handed.  Sophia, her dark hair piled on top of her head turned towards me with her eyes flashing.
