The very night sabotaged his presence, to haunt those who crossed his path. A rippling curtain such as hers could not escape notice, and as the wind blew, age in throat a quick glance to assure he was alone, climbed through the open pane, confession of skill in every movement. As his long legs cleared the jamb and he entered room, slave to his need, smiled. Guilt flickered its way the rugged plains of his face.
