CHAPTER 4-First Meeting

THIRD PERSON POV-

"Did I say you could sit,Miss miller"Allesandro said in his deep voice.

Arabella looked confused.she has searched whole day how interviews goes but not even on one site it was written that she has to wait or ask for permission for sit.

she was in her own thoughts when Allesandro asked again clearly angry with the lack of her response.

"I asked you something miss miller,Did I allowed you to sit?"

Allesandro asked in a chilling voice.

"N-no you-"she tried to speak but Allesandro cut her while turning around.

"THEN WHY DID YOU THOUGHT IT WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA TO DISRESPECT ME LIKE THIS" Allessandro shouted while slamming his hand on the desk.

Arabella flinched hard and stood up.Not even once in her life anybody shouted on her.she was terrified.she just stood there not knowing what to do.

Allesandro looked towards her face.He instantly recognized her,she was the same girl he saw yesterday at the the mall.The same innocent face,the same Beautiful eyes but those eyes was filled with fear today.

As soon as he saw her face,the thoughts of teaching her a lesson and insulting her flew away from his mind.He instantly calmed down and sat on his chair still looking at her beautiful face.

she was looking down all the time not wanting to look towards the person who just shouted at her.

"you can sit down,Miss miller"Allesandro said in his normal authoritative voice.

Arabella instantly obeyed and sat down.

Allesandro wanted to interact with her but he wasn't going to hire a girl who doesn't know a thing about her work.He decided to give Arabella a fair chance and started taking her interview.

He was impressed by her.she gave all of the answers correct .yes,she stuttered some times in starting but Allesandro let that slide because he knew she got scared after he yelled at her which was normal.

"Miss Miller,you graduated from the best university of Italy,right"he asked.

"Yes,Mr.moritti"Arabella replied.

"so I assume you must came from a rich family and you would have got job anywhere in Italy then why you decided to do a job here in America"Allessandro asked.

Arabella didn't knew what to say,she couldn't possibly say that she came from a mafia family and she would never get independent if she would have worked in her own country.

Not knowing how to answer she make up a believable lie which was her biggest mistake.

"sir,I am a scholarship student.I have applied for many companies and I got the first call from here so I thought to give it a try"she replied nervously and Allesandro nodded.

"Last question Miss Miller,why were you late today"he asked in his business tone.

"I am sorry,Mr.moritti I got late because of traffic.I swear it won't happen ever again."Arabella said apologizing.

"I would appreciate if you would come on time"Allessandro said.

Arabella nodded and looked up surprised.

"Welcome to "The moritti corporation",Miss Miller.I hope you will work hard for me."Allesandro said.

"So,am I selected"Arabella asked.

"Yes,you are miss miller,my hiring manager will tell you everything about the contract.you can start the job from tomorrow,you can leave for now"Allesandro said.

"O-ok sir"Arabella said and went out still shocked that she passed the interview even after she made him so angry.

ALLESANDRO-

Arabella Miller-she is talented.It would be nice to be work with her.I thought and call max inside.

"Yes boss"he said.

"Did you get the information about who hacked my account"

I asked him.

"Yes boss,It was John"max replied giving me the files.

"I knew it would be him"I said knowing it can be him only.

"what now"max ask.

"Kill him and throw his body in his country,it should be found easily.I want whole world to know the cost of messing with the American Don."I ordered.

"OK Boss"max replied.

"Allesandro what about your new assistant?should i lined up the interview again"max asked me.

"No need,I hired Arabella Miller"i replied.

"Hmm OK"he said unsure.

"what do you want to say,max"i asked him knowing he has something to say.

"I know I said she is topper and she is but when i talked to her just now she looked fragile and innocent,I dont think

she would be able to handle your temper"max said after thinking.

Maybe he is right but I will try to keep my temper in check infront of her but max doesn't need to know that.

"Then I will just fire her"i said and max nodded.

ARABELLA MILLER-

I got the job.Yes I got the job and I am really happy right now.

Now I don't have to go back home and I can be free and do whatever I want.I can finally become independent.

I think my boss Mr.moretti has Temper problems and he gets angry easily.Now I have to try My best to not make him angry.I can't handle him shouting on me like he did before.

and I can't loose this job I don't want to go back home to be locked in the house all day.

I went out of the building after signing the contract.The contract was good too.They are paying me a good amount.

I booked the cab and went home.

After reaching home the first thing I did was to call Enzo to ask him about the new house,I can't live in this house anymore.Its too far away from my office and I don't want to get late again.

"How was your interview,Ara" Enzo asked me right after picking up the call.

"I got selected for the job enzo"i told him.

"I knew it you will."Enzo said.

"Enzo I want to shift today,Did you find apartment for me"i asked.

"Yes,I did but it just have two rooms,a kitchen and a living room"enzo said.

"It's perfect for me,buy it I will shift today"i said smiling.

"but wait it's near my office right"i asked.

"Yes,it's so close that you can even walk to your office daily"

he replied.

"That's great"i said.

"umm Enzo,actually I want to tell you something"i said nervously.

"did something happen,tell me,Ara"he asked.

"N-nothing happened Enzo,it's just that I lied to my boss about being an scholarship student to get the job."I said knowing he would scold me for lying.

"Ara-"i cut him. "Enzo I didn't know what to say.I was in too much pressure so I lied,I am sorry"i said quickly.

"why are telling me this now"he asked.

"I don't want to hide anything from you"i said.

"OK then,listen sorella if you get stuck in any problem in future tell me I will solve it for you"he said.

"I promise I will tell you and enzo listen tell dad and xander that I got the job and I won't be coming home anytime soon.ok bye now,i am hanging up"i said and hanged up the phone.
