Timothy pressed his phone sitting by the waiting area at GPH. He took a deep breath calling Misha but her phone rang unanswered till it stopped. He dialed her again but she still didn’t pick.
He looked around then typed a message.
Timothy: Hey are you ok?
He waited for her reply then called again. Nathan walked over just as the call cut. Timothy got up.
“You good?”
“Yeah. I need to get Ludo out.”
“They won’t release her tonight. Let her sleep in a cell.”
Nathan fixed his t-shirt. “I am going to het her out. Thanks for coming.”
Timothy’s phone vibrated, he quickly looked but it was his wife. He sighed.
“I am telling Charity that I’m stuck here in case she calls you. Misha ga nkarabe.”
Nathan stared at him. “Kante mme gone when are you letting Misha go? Clearly there’s no future between the two of you.”
“I love her. You know that.”
“So she is going to be your side chick forever? Cone on, one day Charity is going to catch on. Gao direle Misha sente. You need to let her go. I’m sure she dreams of being married and starting her own family.”
“Misha knows that I love her. We will have children.”
They walked out of the hospital. Nathan unlocked his car. “Sure. We will talk.”
Nathan slowly got in his car and drove off. He thoughtfully picked his phone and called Misha.

At Misha’s house, Misha stared at Nathan’s call. She closed her eyes picking.
“Nate… if Timothy asked you to-“
“No. He didn’t. Hi..”
“Hey.”
Nate chuckled. “The way you are so soft spoken… no wonder Timothy behaves the way he does. O soft thata.(You are too soft.)”
She smiled. “Nate weeh, tswa mogo nna.(Nate leave me alone.)”
He laughed. “Sorry. You know you deserve better right?”
She breathed out. “Tell that to my heart.”
“I hear Luna is back.”
“Yes.”
“For good?”
“Nate you know how Luna is. She wrote you off her books.”
“Does she still hate me?”
“She hates your entire family… and you.”
Nate laughed. “How long will she be here for?”
“Forever.”
“Wow… where is she staying?”
“The company that hired her are giving her a house. I can’t say more than that. She will kill me if I do. Gaborone is small, I’m sure you will bump into her soon. If I were you I’d give her space. You know Luna doesn’t forgive easily.”
“Yeah thanks.”
Car lights shone through her window ad she dropped the call. Misha got up and peaked through the window. She quickly closed the curtain noticing Timothy’s car. His car door opened and closed. Misha took a deep breath listening to his footsteps approached her food step.
He knocked twice. “Babe, I just saw you peak. Please open for me.”
Misha sighed then walked to the door ajd turned the key. Timothy opened the door immediately and walked in.
“Why are you not picking my calls?”
“Weren’t you with your wife?”
Timothy sighed. “Keng? I thought you’d be happy since-“
“You promised you’d stay the night.”
“Misha Charity is back.”
“So? Charity found me in thus relationship Timothy. You were cheating on me with this woman. No matter what I said you’d always go back to her.”
“Ra lwa?(Are we fighting?) I do everything for you Misha. You don’t pay rent, I give you monthly allowance, I funded your business. Babe what more should I do? Kereng? Charity was pregnant. You know how the law runs at home. Once you impregnate a woman, you marry her. She lost the baby after we got married, was I supposed to just throw her out after?”
“Oh ok. I am also pregnant Timothy. What are you going to do now?”
Timothy stared at her then moved back realizing she was actually not joking.
“What did you just say?”
“You heard me! I am pregnant. “
“Aren’t you on-“
“I am but I am pregnant.” Misha stared at him. “I am not getting rid of it. I am keeping this baby.”
Timothy laughed. “Babe come on, don’t joke like this.”
“I am serious. I am pregnant. You are going to be a father. Please go. If you try to come near ne I am going to scream. My neighbor is a soldier and he’s very efficient when it comes to neighborhood protection.”
Timothy clenched his jaws. “Misha you are going to get rid of this baby. I am not playing with you. I am not going to lose my wife because of you and if you thought you’d trap me with a baby Misha-“
“This baby is not going anywhere!”
Timothy grabbed her throat and pushed her against the wall cutting off her airway completely. Misha’s eyes widened as she tried to scratch his hands but he tightened his grip. Misha stomped her feet on the ground feeling as if her soul wad fighting to leave her body. Timothy let go, she gasped bending in shock.
“By the time your neighbor finds you, your body would have long started to rot. Don’t test me. You are going to abort that baby Misha. There is a reason I could have never married you, you should be glad I even chose to keep you. O ntwaela masepa Misha. Nxla!”
Misha sniffed as tears fell to her floor.
“Who told you to get pregnant?”
“Timothy-“
Timothy pulled her braids. “I am talking to you! Speak s**t to me and I will slap you now now!”
Her voice trembled as she spoke. “Babe you are hurting me. Let go. I am joking.”
Timothy glared at her. “What exactly is the joke?”
She touched his chest. “There is no baby. I was just scaring you. Go home babe.”
He looked at her. “I will be here in the morning. We are going to check.”
“Ok.”
Misha’s phone rang on the couch. Timothy walked over to it and looked at the unsaved number then picked.
“Yeah?”
“Uhu, who’s this?”
He frowned. “Luna?”
“Please give Misha the phone.”
He turned to Misha. “I thought you cut communication with this ratchet-“
“Ratchet o ra mmago o marete!”
“Clearly going abroad didn’t help you.”
Luna laughed. “And you are still the same dog. You don’t surprise me, Misha and I will never part ways. O moloi jou fucken bastard. I hate you so much the day you die I will celebrate. You don’t scare me, I will run and tell your wife just how nasty you are. Black lips!”
“Luna-“
“Ng ng, I’m done talking to you gorilla ke wena. Touch my friend and I will be announcing to the entire world who you are. I’m sure your father’s congregation would very much like new gossip aside from the fact that your father cheats with the worship team. Mxm!”
