We have found her. Those words sounded simple. Nonetheless staring into Greyson's eyes, I knew there was more. His body stilled as he held the phone tightly, breath rose, eyes stared into mine as cold as ice.
Who was found? Or rather was someone missing before? My brain kept moving in circles trying to figure out what was going on. Unable to move, I just stood there waiting for the call to end.
Maybe I should ask him. Maybe it's nothing serious and I was just being paranoid.
Different Maybe's came to mind and i knew I was only trying to console myself. Who ever was on the other end of the line didn't give a pleasant message. Judging from the look I was getting right now, the message wasn't in my favour at all.
