Scott parked his car into his garage and killed his engine, rolled his head back and exhaled. He felt defeated once more, the years of torture that he had faced for the past six years had come clear in less than an hour. He was supposed to have been happy with the revelation but instead, Scott was crushed. He could not bring himself to face Purity so he had done what he was good at, he had run to the pub and had a few drinks, but even the bitter taste of alcohol was not enough to kill the guilt he had felt.
