The party had dragged late into the night and by the time the three of them had arrived home and they were all tired. Both Purity and Scott had sat in silence the entire drive home, their only thing separating the two of them was their daughter that sat in between them.
Not a word was uttered about the party and it was as though their wedding and wedding reception had been nothing but a terrible nightmare that had refused to end.
