FOR TWO DAYS DYLAN was numb. He went to the gym, caught up on sleep, cleaned his house and ignored the dozens of phone calls and messages Zach had left for him. He wasn’t spiteful, and he didn’t ignore them completely. He read every message that Zach sent and deleted them. He’d listened to the voice mails, too. He couldn’t bring himself to answer the calls or to return the messages. His heart was just too torn up to deal with it.
