Lotus POV
Strong arms are shaking me awake. "Wake up."
My eyes flutter open, and I see Louis staring down at me. There is a giant grin on his face, and he looks so happy that I can't help but return it. He pushes off the bed and holds up a snow suit and a pair of boots.
"Get dressed."
I c**k my head to the side, not fully understanding what is going on. I try to cover myself back up with the blankets, but he pulls them off me.
"Nope. We are going sledding."
I am out of bed faster than I have ever been before. When I was little, I would watch the city children race up and down the hills on sleds. I was never permitted to join them, for fear they might find out who I really was. My heart ached to play with them, and this offer from Louis is healing something in my soul.
